Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, December 27, tease that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) will join Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) exorcism while Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) finds EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) in jail. Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will also have a jealous outburst, so here’s what DOOL has in store.
At the townhouse, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will be ready to begin Marlena’s exorcism.
Thanks to the medal Gabriel (Mark Colson) gave him, John will have God’s strength on his side. He’ll also have the spirit of Christmas and the support of several family members, so the devil will be no match for all that.
Even so, John will battle moments of doubt. He’ll worry about Marlena’s fate and will desperately need some reinforcements, so a prayer will be answered by a knock at the door.
It’ll be Eric who enters, so he’ll be able to use his knowledge and power as a priest now that he’s become one again.
Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) will be at the townhouse, so she’ll put her focus on her mom instead of all the drama happening with EJ.
Days fans know Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) is the reason EJ’s spending Christmas in lockup this year.
EJ was wrongfully accused of kidnapping Sami, but he’ll assure Nicole of his innocence when she pays him a visit.
Nicole may point out EJ’s capable of something like this, but she may also know him well enough to realize when he’s telling the truth.
Of course, EJ chose Sami over Nicole, so that’ll become an issue at some point in the coming episodes. In the meantime, EJ will fret over this frustrating legal situation.
Between Jason’s (Noel Guglielmi) claims and some new evidence that’ll be cooked up, things will look awfully bleak for EJ.
This isn’t how EJ wanted to spend his Christmas morning, but some other Salemites will kick off the day on a happier note.
Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will gush over the twins when Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) brings them over to the Horton house briefly.
Now that Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) is out of his coma, he’ll also have a happy holiday with Allie and Henry Horton (Nash and Clyde Gunderson) at home.
Unfortunately, the mood will turn sour once Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) shows up and reveals Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) is now Mrs. DiMera.
Chanel will expect Allie to be excited for them, but Allie will blow her top instead. She’ll rattle off a list of reasons why this is a terrible idea, but Chanel won’t buy any of them.
Johnny won’t buy those reasons either and will accuse Allie of being jealous.
Tripp will probably pipe up to push for peace since it’s Christmas, but the only way any harmony’s happening is if Chanel and Johnny leave.
Days spoilers say that’s exactly what the newlyweds will do, but Allie will calm down later and try to process her complicated feelings.
As for Paulina Price (Jackée Harry), she’ll have some hope for the future when she speaks with Abe Carver (James Reynolds) in the town square.
Abe and Paulina will make some progress, but there’ll be more tension with Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) when she pops up with Eli.
Lani will nearly walk right on by, but Paulina will think they should at least be able to wish each other a merry Christmas.
Paulina will offer a gift, so we’ll see if Eli can convince Lani to accept it in the spirit of the holiday. We’ll deliver updates as other Days news comes in.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Lani and Paulina’s complex relationship will come with more curveballs in the new year, so stay tuned to DOOL.
