Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, December 27, teases that EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) will face a frame job that stuns Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) while Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) gets furious over a run-in. Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) battle will also break out, so let’s talk about what’s next on DOOL.
Lani and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) missed Christmas Eve at the Horton house since the twins were feeling the greatest, but they’ll be feeling well enough for a visit with Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) on Christmas morning.
Julie will be delighted for some time with her grandbabies, but she may worry about how Lani’s holding up in the aftermath of Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) derailed wedding.
Eli may admit Lani’s still struggling with a lot of pain and anger, but he’s trying to help her cope.
As for Abe, he still loves Paulina and wants to be with her on some level. Abe just isn’t sure he can ever truly trust Paulina again.
Although Abe insisted he needed time, Days spoilers say he’ll be pretty friendly with Paulina during their next encounter. That should leave Paulina hoping they can have a future after all.
Paulina will also hope for reconciliation with Lani, but she’ll continue to get the cold shoulder.
When Lani brushes right past in the town square, Paulina will call out to her.
Paulina won’t see why they can’t at least acknowledge each other’s presence with a “Merry Christmas,” but Lani will go off on her birth mother once again.
However, Paulina isn’t a quitter and will keep working toward progress. She’s craving some sort of relationship with Lani, so she’ll hand over a Christmas gift – that is if she can convince Lani to accept it.
Paulina may stand a chance if it’s something for the twins, especially since Eli will be there to give Lani a nudge.
While Tripp and Allie are celebrating Christmas with Henry Horton (Nash and Clyde Gunderson), they’ll get a couple of special visitors.
Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will have to drop their marriage bomb once again – this time on Allie and Tripp.
Although Tripp will mostly be shocked, Allie will be downright livid! She’ll wonder what the heck Johnny and Chanel were thinking when they got hitched in Roman.
Allie will explain why she thinks this is a catastrophic blunder, but Johnny will think it all boils down to jealousy.
Johnny will think Allie’s just mad because he locked in a future with the woman she previously had the hots for.
Allie will vehemently deny being jealous, but there’ll be some truth to Johnny’s accusations deep down.
Other Days spoilers say EJ will get a visitor of his own at the Salem PD. After spending the night in lockup, EJ will speak with Nicole in the interrogation room.
Nicole will wonder how EJ ended up in this mess, but he won’t have a clue that Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) was behind this.
EJ wasn’t the one who kidnapped Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney), so he’ll give a shocked Nicole his side of the story and wonder who’s actually responsible.
Nicole may believe EJ is innocent, but she’s bound to get irritated over EJ being so hung up on Sami and the constant drama she brings to his life.
At the townhouse, Sami and John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will lean on each other as Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) remains possessed.
John will wish he had some backup as he prepares for Marlena’s exorcism, so he’ll feel like another miracle has arrived when Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) comes home from Africa out of the blue.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Eric will play a key role in casting the devil out of Marlena, but he’ll need some of Sami’s other loved ones to come together on this soon.
