Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, February 1, tease that Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) will look forward to Eric Brady’s (Greg Vaughan) return home. Nicole just got a call from Eric and seemed thrilled to talk to him again.
It looks like they’ll continue their chat off screen and make sure everything’s all set for Eric’s big comeback.
On Monday’s DOOL episode, Nicole will prepare for Eric’s arrival and face disappointment instead. Days of Our Lives spoilers say some bad news is headed Nicole’s way.
Eric won’t be coming home after all, so it looks like Eric may call back with updates on a canceled flight or some emergency in the village that he has to stay in the Congo for.
Nicole will try to be understanding about all this, but that’s getting tougher every day. It seems like there’s always some obstacle preventing an “Ericole” reunion, so this will be another heartbreaking blow.
Since Nicole’s been growing closer to Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) lately, it won’t be long until she seeks him out and leans on him for comfort.
In the meantime, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will need some advice.
Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) recently delivered her proposal to Jake, but he doesn’t have experience as a CEO and really won’t know whether the numbers are good enough to get on board.
Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) will hear about Gabi’s business proposal in Monday’s DOOL episode and let Jake know what he thinks about it. Since Tony is far more knowledgeable about corporate matters, Jake should appreciate the advice.
Of course, Tony may argue that Jake needs to consider more than just business here. Gabi is the pest that won’t rest, so Tony may advise Jake to think about what when he’s thinking about whether this is really worth it, too.
While Jake’s mulling things over, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will head to the hospital. Days spoilers state that a DNA test will confirm Gwen’s claims, so it’ll be proven that Jack is her biological father.
That shocker will be hard for Jack to wrap his head around, but he’ll accept it once he sees it on paper.
Gwen will want Jack to admit to the rest of her story and at least acknowledge that he’s scum for abandoning her. However, Jack will insist he wouldn’t have left Gwen in need of a father if he’d known she existed. Jack will continue to deny sending what Gwen views as meager checks to her mother, Tiffany Rizczcech.
It turns out Jack is telling the truth since Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer) was behind those payments. She posed as Jack’s secretary and made sure Tiffany kept Gwen away from Jack’s family.
Laura didn’t want Tiffany and her little girl to wreck things for Jack and Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain), so she secretly dealt with this for him.
Days spoilers say Laura will return to the Horton house in Monday’s show – and she’ll drop this giant bomb on Jennifer once she gets there. Jennifer will reel when Laura reveals her buried secret – that she knew about Gwen and handled the problem.
