Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, January 4, tease that things will get tense as Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) confronts Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) in the DiMera living room.
Last week, December 28 to January 1, the action left off as Gwen found Jack looking through her dossier of newspaper clippings on the Deveraux family. Jack knows something’s up, and he’s determined to find out what.
Well, it doesn’t look like Gwen is going to be ready to give up her reasons for having it out for the Deveraux family just yet, so she’s going to be irritatingly coy with Jack.
Gwen will probably say the was just doing research on the family so she could better do her job, but it doesn’t look like Jack’s going to buy this – and he shouldn’t!
Meanwhile, upstairs in Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) bedroom, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will think that he’s finally caught Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) in the act of cheating with Jake, but soon enough he’ll find out the truth – that Jake has been sleeping with Kate DiMera (Lauren Koslow).
It seems that this will take a few minutes for Chad to process, but he’ll finally get it through his thick skull that Abigail has been faithful…and then it will hit him that HE’s the one who cheated on the marriage.
That should make Chad feel sufficiently sick to his stomach, as pretty soon he’s going to have to answer for where he spent the night!
Meanwhile, on the new Days of Our Lives episode on Monday, January 4, Charlie Dale (Mike C. Manning) will unveil his big plans for his mom Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).
Fortunately for Ava, Charlie has decided that he can’t bear to kill her, but he needs a plan to incapacitate her permanently so she can’t spill the beans about what he’s done.
Of course, Ava knows that Charlie assaulted Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) in London last year, and this is something that he doesn’t want getting out. It seems that Charlie will tell Ava that he’s been poisoning her with some substance, and that this drug will make her hallucinate and lose her faculties.
The plan will be for Charlie to have his mother institutionalized and deemed unreliable and “crazy” so that if she does start talking about the assault, no one will believe her. Ava should be sufficiently horrified by this plan, and it looks like he’ll continue to force the poison on Ava.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say that at some point, Charlie will head out of the apartment, where he’ll bump into Allie. Charlie will be a bundle of nerves as he tries to calmly interact with Allie, who will apparently keep going on about how she knows him from somewhere.
Charlie probably won’t be able to get away from Allie quickly enough! Well, it seems that Allie will continue to have a lingering feeling that there’s just something too familiar about Charlie.
Days of Our Lives spoilers indicate that Allie will come to some sort of realization on Monday’s episode, so perhaps she’ll remember seeing Charlie in London. We’ll see when Monday’s episode airs.
