Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Monday, July 5, tease that Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will dump Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) – and it’ll also be Precious Way’s final airdate as Chanel Dupree. As for Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson), he’ll spill the news that Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) is his new fiancée.
For starters, Abe will get the demolition called off temporarily and plan to work out a more permanent solution later. There’s no way Abe can stand by and watch the heart of Salem get destroyed like this.
Paulina will be forced to admit that she wanted to tear everything down and build a new Price Town, which is a big-box store that bears her name.
Abe will feel deeply betrayed since he worked out the zoning for Paulina and bent the rules because he trusted her. Obviously, that trust was misplaced!
Abe put his political career on the line and will have to do some serious damage control as the mayor.
From a personal standpoint, Abe will be hurt and livid over Paulina’s lies. He thought maybe they could be something special, but he won’t be able to tolerate a betrayal like this.
Days spoilers say Abe will break things off with Paulina, who’ll also get an earful from Chanel on Monday’s DOOL episode.
Chanel will reel over the news that Paulina was going to destroy her new bakery storefront. She’ll feel like her mom was selfish and greedy, so she’ll really let Paulina have it!
Paulina will try to explain herself, but Days spoilers say Chanel will remain disappointed in her mother. All the progress Chanel and Paulina made in their relationship recently will go up in smoke.
Precious Way will wrap up her run on Monday before Raven Bowens takes over the role on Tuesday, July 6, so tune in to watch this Chanel transition.
In the meantime, Theo will fill Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) and Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) on his new engagement to Ciara.
Doug and Julie will be thrown for a loop since Ciara’s technically still married to Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson). They may try to be supportive, but they’ll worry about Ben’s reaction to this stunning development.
Speaking of that reaction, Ben definitely won’t be pleased over the engagement bomb Ciara just dropped.
However, it’ll only make Ben more determined to keep fighting for his marriage, so Ciara will be out of luck when it comes to getting those divorce papers signed.
Over with John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), they’ll spend a romantic night together as they celebrate the Fourth of July.
