Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, March 15, reveals that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) woke up with a terrible hangover following his two-man bachelor party with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford).
Moments later, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) came down to find Xander in his underwear and started screaming her head off about the neanderthal.
Jack swooped in and tried to explain since he’s the best man at Xander’s upcoming DOOL wedding. Jack admitted that things got a little out of hand last night, so he wanted to be sure Xander made it to his nuptials on time.
After a shower, Xander came down wearing Jennifer Deveraux’s (Cady McClain) robe and worried since Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) still hadn’t returned his call from the night before.
Xander wondered if it was bad luck to call the bride before the wedding, but Jack didn’t think so as long as they didn’t video chat.
In the DiMera basement on Monday’s Days episode, March 15, Sarah woke up and realized Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) was holding her captive.
After Sarah begged for her freedom on her wedding day, she promised Kristen she had changed her mind and wouldn’t rat her out. Kristen didn’t believe Sarah and decided she’d have to find another solution.
Sarah feared Kristen would kill her, but Kristen insisted she wasn’t a killer. That led to an argument about Haley Chen (Thia Megia), but Kristen maintained that what happened to Haley was an accident.
After Kristen mentioned Stefano DiMera’s (Joseph Mascolo) deserted island, she pointed out that supplies were dropped off every few weeks. Kristen thought that’d be a good place for Sarah, but Sarah warned that Xander would never stop looking for her.
Kristen then decided to text Xander from Sarah’s phone, but she didn’t get a chance to send the breakup text before Xander called.
After Kristen let it go to voicemail, Sarah again tried to score her freedom. She argued that things would only get worse for Kristen if she didn’t end this now.
Sarah insisted that she would speak on Kristen’s behalf, but Kristen refused to let her go. An upset Sarah suggested that Kristen should go ahead and send the text then.
Xander wouldn’t believe Sarah was dumping him unless she did it in person, so that gave Kristen a “scathingly brilliant idea.”
Back at the Horton house, Xander found it odd that Sarah didn’t answer her phone. Jack suggested Sarah was probably just busy getting ready for the wedding, but Xander seemed unsettled about not being able to get in touch with his fiancée.

At the hospital, Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) smiled as he hugged Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) – and then they discussed Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) as well as their relationship woes in the waiting area.
Theo admitted that things didn’t work out with the woman he was dating in South Africa. She was great, but she wasn’t… “She wasn’t Ciara,” Claire said, finishing the thought for Theo.
Claire filled Theo in on how Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) turned out to be a sociopath, so Theo was sorry for pushing Claire to make her move.
On Monday’s Days episode, Theo bought up the murder investigation and wondered if there were any other suspects besides Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney). Claire became a bit uncomfortable and decided she’d go get some updates on Ciara’s condition.
In the hospital chapel, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) gave Ben a pep talk after he said a prayer for Ciara’s life to be spared. Marlena understood why Ben felt so connected to Ciara since she feels the same way about John Black (Drake Hogestyn).
When Ben talked about the knot he still felt inside, Marlena insisted that knot never goes away for her whenever John’s in trouble – no matter if she’s near or far.
Marlena and Ben talked about how Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox (Brock Kelly) was in custody – and Ben suffered through coughing spells throughout the conversation.
Although Marlena wanted Ben to get checked out, he insisted he’d already gotten a checkup and refused further treatment until he knew Ciara was OK. Later, an excited Claire came in with the news that Ciara was out of surgery.
