Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Monday, May 10 Recap – Brady’s Heart Trouble, Kayla Saves Life – Kristen’s Horrifying Hospital News

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, May 10, reveals that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) filled Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) in on “Kate Roberts DiMera” aka Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) leaving town.

Gabi suggested Jake shouldn’t channel everything he was feeling into work – and Jake pointed out that “Kate” said he should run DiMera Enterprises with Gabi as a powercouple.

Jake eventually leaned in for a kiss, which earned him a slap from Gabi. She refused to be “Kate’s” sloppy seconds and didn’t want Jake crawling back to her now.

After Gabi stormed out, Jake made her a drink and headed up to her room to offer it as a peace offering. He hoped it made up for “putting the moves” on Gabi earlier and felt the slap had knocked some sense into him.

Before Jake left, Gabi stopped him and suggested the pain of rejection doesn’t last forever. Jake admitted that it stung a little that Gabi was able to get over him so quickly, but that’s not what Gabi was saying. Gabi talked about loving and losing other men, so Jake wondered who she loved now.

Gabi dodged the question and continued her pep talk. She thought the usual fairytale about having one true love was “load of crap” and insisted that Jake shouldn’t give up on finding someone.

“Maybe there’s somebody out there better for you,” Gabi said. “Maybe I’m looking at her,” Jake replied.

Meanwhile on Monday’s Days of Our Lives episode, Kristen ranted at Kate in the backseat for causing her to run someone off the road. Kristen was relieved since the car appeared to have swerved, but then DOOL fans could see Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) had crashed his car.

Brady had a huge gash that was dripping blood from his head and the airbag had been deployed. Although Brady managed to call 911, he lost consciousness before he could reveal exactly where he was.

Back in Kristen’s car, she gave Kate another drug dose before turning her attention to the road again. However, Kristen heard the car door open and shut before she looked back to find that Kate had escaped!

Kristen ultimately started searching on foot in a wooded area and hoped she could regain control of her scheme.

At the hospital, a furious Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) pushed Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) to come clean about being “Stan” aka “Dr. Dun.” Chloe realized Lucas must be in on plot and demanded answers, but Sami kept trying to act like Chloe was in the denial stage of grief.

Nevertheless, Chloe stood her ground and pushed for the truth since it was obvious Lucas didn’t have a real brain tumor.

Kayla Brady (Mary Beth Evans) interrupted with the news about Brady being rushed to the hospital following a car accident, so Chloe dashed off to be with him.

Soon after, Sami got a call from Kristen, who wanted to make more demands until Sami revealed that Brady had run off the road somewhere on Route 9. It dawned on Kristen that she was responsible and insisted she was on her way before hanging up.

Elsewhere, Kate was weak and out of it on the ground as she mumbled about Jake and needing his help. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Kate’s got some other tough blows in her future, so DOOL wants will want to stay tuned for more drama!

In Brady’s hospital room on Monday’s Days episode, Kayla checked his pupils and didn’t see any signs of brain injury. Brady’s blood pressure was dropping, so Kayla noted there could be internal injuries.

Moments later, Brady started coding. Kayla had to shock Brady with the paddles to get his heart going again, so Chloe was distraught nearby.

After Brady was stable, Chloe sat by his bedside and promised she wouldn’t leave him. Brady eventually came to and began muttering Kristen’s name.

Chloe corrected Brady and insisted it was Chloe, but Brady was apparently trying to tell her about the swap. “Kristen…she’s not Kristen,” Brady said groggily.

As for Kristen, she came running up to Sami and Lucas near the nurses’ desk wearing her Kate disguise. “Kate” was panicking and begged Sami to tell her that “he” was all right.

Sami assumed “Kate” found out the story about Lucas dying, but “Kate” ran off – leaving Sami and Lucas to wonder what could be more important.

At the pub on Monday’s Days of Our Lives episode, Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) was concerned about the possibility that Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) wouldn’t return to Salem.

Lani didn’t want Abe Carver (James Reynolds) to get his hopes up since Paulina wasn’t the most reliable and might’ve found some new project to distract her.

Abe felt confident Paulina would return, but Lani pointed out that Paulina hadn’t even made the time to call or text. Suddenly, Abe’s phone rang – and it was Paulina on the other end back in Miami.

Paulina got updates on Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) moving in with Lani, so she was thrilled to know Lani was looking out for her.

While on speakerphone, Paulina assured both Abe and Lani that she would be back in Salem very soon. She just had a few things to wrap up and would be back on a plane ASAP.

Once Paulina disconnected, she looked at some secret plans on her desk. “Not what you had in mind, Abe. I do know that. No turning back now,” Paulina said.

At Julie’s Place on Monday’s Days episode, Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) approached Chanel and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) near the bar. A livid Claire accused Chanel of trying to scam Allie the same way she scammed them before.

After Allie heard the story of Chanel trying to stick Claire and Tripp with a massive drink bill, she pointed out that Chanel was her friend from back in London.

Claire brought up the kiss that Tripp witnessed, so Allie wondered if Tripp was spying on her. Tripp clarified that he simply heard Allie was at Julie’s Place from Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and then left when he saw that he’d be interrupting.

Chanel realized “cheapskate” Tripp was the one Allie was into, but Allie asked Tripp if she could speak to him alone.

Outside, Allie assured Tripp that she wasn’t gay or bi. She noted that Chanel was just a friend and that it wasn’t a “friends with benefits” situation either.

Allie promised there was nothing going on and added that she wanted Tripp of all people to know that, so he asked why.

Tripp brought up the fact that Chanel said Allie was into him, so Allie confirmed that was true – though she didn’t think anything could happen because of how complicated things were.

Allie reflected on screwing Tripp’s life up for months, but he thought they’d gotten past all that. Tripp ultimately decided he should stop talking and planted a kiss on Allie, which she reciprocated.

Inside the restaurant, Chanel told Claire that she only wanted friendship from Allie. “Right, and a little roll in the hay,” Claire snapped. Chanel got irritated and insisted sometimes a kiss was just a kiss. She lashed out at Claire once again before she left.

On her way out, Chanel interrupted Allie’s kiss and praised her friend for the “fast work.” She told Allie and Tripp to keep doing what they were doing before sauntering off.

Once they were alone again, Tripp noted that Chanel was something else – but Allie insisted it was in a good way. She thought Tripp just had to get to know her.

Allie had to get back to Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox), but she said she’d talk to Tripp soon. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie and Tripp’s romance is just getting started, so don’t miss what’s ahead for these two!
