Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Monday, November 15 Recap – Xander in the Dark on Sarah – Nicole Pumps Bedroom Brakes with EJ

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, November 15, reveals that Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) pumped the bedroom brakes with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) while Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) found himself in the dark on Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) Sarah Horton (last played by Linsey Godfrey) secret. Let’s talk about how all the DOOL action went down.

At the Salem PD, Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) insisted Gwen was going to break her out of jail or else she’d tell Xander the truth about Sarah.

Kristen made sure Gwen was familiar with her reputation as the master of disguise and explained how she donned a Sarah mask to trick Xander.

After Xander caught “Sarah” in bed with Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder), Kristen made it seem like Sarah and Rex left town together.

However, Kristen explained Sarah was actually on a secluded island owned by her family.

Kristen had arranged for Rex to get a prestigious Doctors Without Borders appointment that made him basically unreachable.

Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) also received texts periodically so she wouldn’t worry about her daughter.

Unless Gwen got her out of there, Kristen vowed to tell Xander where the real love of his life was. Gwen nervously declared Kristen was a liar and suggested she was playing some game.

Kristen said maybe Gwen was right or maybe she was telling the truth. She argued that if Xander knew where Sarah was, he’d end it with Gwen so fast it’d make her head swim.

Kristen warned that Gwen had better not wait too long since it’d be easier to get her out of there than Statesville.

At the Kiriakis mansion on Monday’s Days episode, Xander greeted Maggie and offered his condolences on the loss of Summer Townsend (Marie Wilson).

Xander wondered if Maggie had heard from Sarah, so she admitted she got texts every now and then.

Xander asked about Sarah’s relationship with Rex and suggested he was happy for her.

Xander revealed that he’d fallen in love again, but Maggie wasn’t pleased to learn it was with Gwen since she caused so much pain for Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and his family.

Xander protested that Gwen had changed and was no longer trying to do any harm. He asked Maggie to put in a good word for Sarah with Jack, but Maggie initially acted like it’d be a betrayal to Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller).

However, Xander kept at it and eventually got Maggie to agree she’d talk to Jack – though she made no promises about the outcome.

A thrilled Xander scooped Maggie up and told her he loved her before heading back to his hotel room.

Gwen was looking at an article online about one of Kristen’s prison escapes when Xander came in with good news.

Since Maggie had a soft spot for anyone trying to change, Xander said she was willing to talk to Jack for Gwen. He felt like Maggie had real sway with the Horton family and expected them to see Gwen with new eyes soon.

Gwen flashed back to Kristen insisting that Xander would dump her if he knew where Sarah was. She looked uneasy as Xander embraced her on Monday’s Days episode.

Meanwhile, EJ showed up at Nicole’s apartment with some takeout, but Nicole said she already ate.

Nicole acted like EJ should’ve called first and seemed eager to get rid of him, but EJ whipped out Nicole’s favorite ice cream and convinced her to have dessert with him.

EJ flirted with Nicole before moving in for a kiss. It escalated to a make-out session that EJ wanted to take to the bedroom, but Nicole pumped the brakes.

EJ wondered why two single consenting adults couldn’t sleep together, so Nicole said it was because she’d feel like even more of a “slut.”

EJ still didn’t understand, but he eventually got Nicole to admit she’d slept with someone on Halloween. Once EJ figured out it was Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering), Nicole filled him in on the details.

EJ wasn’t judgmental about that night and assured Nicole he wouldn’t say anything on one condition.

The next time Nicole was terrorized by the undead on a paid holiday, EJ wanted Nicole to call him instead. That earned a smile from Nicole as they enjoyed a warm moment.

At Rafe’s place, he hinted about needing Ava’s forgiveness. Ava didn’t understand why, but Rafe covered and acted like this was just about thinking Ava had reverted to her old mob ways.

After Ava acknowledged that she’d gone after Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus), she promised not to cause any more trouble for her. Ava thought they could wipe the slate clean and kissed Rafe, but she could tell he seemed hesitant.

When Ava suggested sleeping in her room tonight and taking this one step at a time, Rafe thought that was a good plan. He continued to battle guilt over his hookup with Nicole once he was alone.

In the DiMera crypt, the devil chained Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) up while in the form of Eileen Davidson’s version of Kristen DiMera.

Kristen smiled over the show Marlena was going to miss and returned to shackled John in the other room.

John insisted that the real Kristen was obsessed with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf), but Kristen said she was John’s Kristen and tried to trigger some memories.

After John declared that he only wanted Marlena and added that would never change, Kristen shrugged that she could be patient since she’d been around for an eternity.

A little later, Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) woke up and learned she’d been the devil’s temporary host. Susan started praying until the devil, who was back in Marlena’s body, threatened to pay EJ a visit.

Possessed Marlena said she was going to corrupt more souls and destroy more lives, but she vowed to return – that way John and Kristen could pick up where they left off.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say the devil will continue to cause plenty of Salem drama, so stay tuned to DOOL.
