Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Monday, November 8 Recap – Ben Thrills Marlena – Ava Blasts Rafe - Special Anniversary Cake

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, November 8, reveals that Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) announcement thrilled the devil while Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) chose to blast Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) for abandoning her in her time of need.

At the townhouse on Monday’s Days episode, Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) read a news article about Ava claiming Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) committed the murder she’d been accused of.

Possessed Marlena was thrilled to know her Halloween chaos had consequences. She stabbed a knife into a pumpkin as she suggested it was time to put a new soul into the ground.

Marlena declared that John Black (Drake Hogestyn) had cheated death for the last time, but she had to cover when Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) showed up.

Brady needed some advice about Rachel Black (Finley Rose Slater), but Marlena shifted the conversation to Brady’s feelings for Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).

Marlena felt the best thing Brady could do is go find Chloe and without a word lay her down on the conference table at Basic Black. She pushed Brady to show Chloe just how big his feelings were, but Brady thought she couldn’t be serious.

However, Marlena thought it would be a very bold, endearing and romantic move. She hustled Brady out the door and looked forward to wreaking more havoc.

At Ben and Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) apartment, Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk) insisted she knew Ciara was pregnant because of her premonition.

Ciara didn’t want to believe Susan’s ramblings about the baby being in grave danger, but Ben thought maybe they should just hear her out.

Susan admitted she wasn’t sure about the exact nature of the danger and thought she needed to get a psychic vibration from the baby.

Ben suggested Susan should touch Ciara’s belly, so Susan moved in close and felt the “little lifeforce” growing inside her.

Suddenly, Susan cried out about the evil and collapsed in Ben’s arms. While Susan was unconscious on the bed, Ben decided he’d better go get Marlena. Ciara was still with Susan when she woke up and tried feeling the mom-to-be’s belly again.

Susan insisted she felt the evil so strong, but she confirmed it was coming from someone else, not Ben.

Marlena was on her way out the door of the townhouse when Ben showed up seeking help.

Ben started by revealing that Ciara was pregnant, so possessed Marlena was overjoyed. She pulled Ben into a hug and declared this was the best news ever!

At Basic Black, Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) told Chloe about sleeping on the conference table with Rafe last night. She recapped the crazy Deimos Kiriakis (Vincent Irizarry) story along with the fact that Ava’s mob past may not be so far behind her.

Chloe asked where Nicole and Rafe stood now, but Nicole wasn’t sure since they hadn’t really had a chance to talk yet. Once Nicole was gone, Chloe gave the conference table a good cleaning.

When Brady arrived, he seemingly did just what Marlena told him to and immediately started making love to Chloe on the conference table. Moments later, Brady snapped out of the fantasy as Chloe wondered what was wrong.

At home on Monday’s Days episode, Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) thought back on all the Charlie horror.

Allie suggested telling Tripp she loved him was the one good part of the night, so Tripp was glad to know that was real.

At the police station, Ava stood by her claims that Charlie killed Carmine Merlino (Richie Stephens). Rafe was skeptical since only Ava’s prints were on the knife.

Ava assumed maybe zombies didn’t leave fingerprints behind. She lashed out over Rafe leaving her there alone all night and coming in now as cold as ice.

Ava asked what was so important that he couldn’t come to her, so Rafe flashed back to his hookup with Nicole and suggested he had something to tell Ava. Tripp came in before Rafe could confess and backed Ava up on Charlie’s return.

Tripp insisted Allie also saw Charlie and explained the deadly encounter that ended with Charlie’s disappearance.

Rafe then thought back to Nicole’s claims of killing Deimos before he vanished, too. He phoned someone to check on the graves of Charlie as well as Deimos for any signs of disturbance.

Back with Allie on Monday’s DOOL episode, she got a visit from Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens). Chanel had some soup for Allie since she had called in sick, but Allie confessed it was really because she didn’t get much sleep last night.

Although Allie didn’t want to get into the details of her Halloween scare, she mentioned that she finally reciprocated Tripp’s love declaration.

Chanel seemed a little disappointed over Allie’s updates, but she quickly put a smile on her face and suggested she was happy for Allie.

Talk eventually turned to Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) and all the Ouija board drama. Allie admitted Johnny saw Chanel feeding her that cookie and thought it seemed like an intimate moment.

Chanel laughed it off and guessed that Halloween made people see things that weren’t there. Allie looked a bit sad over Chanel’s comment, but she changed the subject to whether Johnny had apologized for the way he acted.

Chanel revealed that she’d made up with Johnny, who even filled in for Allie at the bakery.

After Chanel mentioned a surprise cake order, she talked about someone celebrating a 56th anniversary. Chanel noted that some supercouples really do beat the odds and are destined to be together.

As this Days episode concluded, viewers saw a special cake in the town square to help celebrate DOOL’s 56th anniversary.
