Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, October 4, tease that Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will blame Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) for the Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) violence at the hospital. Meanwhile, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will derail EJ DiMera’s (Dan Feurriegel) and Nicole Walker’s (Arianne Zucker) date.
First, Ava will stop by the police station and flirt with Rafe in his office. Days spoilers say Rafe and Ava will share a kiss before they head off on a date night together. They won’t realize they’re about to land in Nicole and EJ’s path!
At Basic Black, Nicole will be deep in thought as she gazes at Duke the teddy bear.
Nicole’s mind will be on Rafe – and that could lead to some steamy fantasizing on the job. However, Days spoilers say Nicole will turn her attention to EJ once it’s time to get off work.
EJ will exchange smiles with Nicole and suggest he’s glad she agreed to give him another shot. Just because their romance failed in the past doesn’t mean it’ll fail now.
EJ will push Nicole to let him distract her and provide some good company. He’ll ultimately wine and dine Nicole, who’ll actually have a great time – that is until an unexpected run-in brings some tension.
While Nicole and EJ are on their date, Rafe and Ava will also show up at Julie’s Place.
The four of them will have an awkward conversation – and it’ll probably just remind Nicole of how much she’d really like to be on a date with Rafe instead.
Nevertheless, Nicole will do her best to shove her feelings for Rafe aside and focus on Mr. Good-Enough-for-Right-Now EJ.
Maybe EJ and Nicole could actually make this reunion work down the road, but we’ll just have to see how it goes.
At the hospital, Doug will get out of bed and try to stop Marlena from doing any more damage. Marlena just bashed Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) in the head with a nearby tray, so Doug will try to wrestle that tray away and prevent more hits.
Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) will hear the commotion and come bursting in, so possessed Marlena may act like she took the tray out of Doug’s hands.
It seems Marlena will put the blame on Doug and act like he turned violent against Julie.
Whatever the case, Marlena will wiggle out of trouble and wind up in the chapel with John Black (Drake Hogestyn) afterward.
It looks like John will still be in the dark on the possession at that point, but he’s bound to figure this out pretty soon.
Next, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will continue to keep quiet about her bio mom status – and about Abe Carver (James Reynolds) not being Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) true father.
Paulina will know it’s what she has to do, but it’ll be tough when she discusses the past with Lani on Monday’s DOOL episode.
Across town, Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) will do two favors for Abe Carver (James Reynolds). She’ll start by granting her permission to marry Paulina, so Abe will be relieved about that.
Abe will also be thrilled when Chanel agrees to bake Paulina’s top pie pick. It’ll be part of Abe’s grand engagement plan, so he’ll have everything he needs to pop the question.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abe’s marriage proposal will come together beautifully, so Paulina’s in for a shock soon enough.
