Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Monday, September 13 Recap – Gwen Tells Prostitute Lie – EJ Defeats Bloody Xander

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Monday, September 13, reveals that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) told a prostitute lie while EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) defeated a bloody Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer). Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) also scored a Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) film idea, so let’s talk about all Monday’s DOOL action.

In Xander’s hotel room, he snatched the phone away from EJ and refused to let him leave without EJ’s word that he wouldn’t call the judge back to have Xander arrested.

EJ made it clear that he wasn’t the vegetable he once was in Nashville, but Xander chuckled and asked if EJ was sure about that.

EJ responded by throwing a hard punch, but Xander fought back by launching an attack of his own.

Xander and EJ had an all-out brawl, which ended with Xander weak and bloody on the floor as EJ sauntered out.

In the town square on Monday’s Days episode, Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) showed Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) the plaque created in memory of Tom Horton (Macdonald Carey) and Alice Horton (Francis Reid).

Doug acted like he remembered, but Julie eventually got him to admit he didn’t know those fine-looking people from Adam.

Julie decided they should go for that appointment with Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) after all, so they met up with her and began the examination.

Kayla said Doug had the blood pressure and heart rate of a man half his age, but Julie admitted they were more concerned about his mind.

After Julie explained the latest incidents, Doug confirmed that Julie was worried he might have Alzheimer’s. Kayla suggested there could be a variety of reasons for Doug’s memory lapses – including ones that were treatable.

Kayla was pleased that Doug and Julie had come to her since she could help get to the bottom of this.

Once Doug was alone with Julie, he offered sweet reassurance. Doug insisted that even if he forgot their names, he’d never forget his love for Julie.

At the Horton house, Gwen seemingly told Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) the truth about having her miscarriage before her faceoff with Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and her tumble down the stairs.

Jack flew into a rage and disowned Gwen before she snapped out of it – revealing it was just how she imagined that confrontation would go.

Instead, Gwen went with the story Xander came up with and told Jack she used to be a prostitute.

After Gwen explained how she refused to end up living hungry on the streets of Philly, she said she started making some contacts and offering her services.

Gwen lied about Dr. Clay Snyder (Michael Lowry) being in town for a medical convention or something and then recognizing her years later at the hospital.

After Gwen claimed that Dr. Snyder threatened to tell unless she did what he wanted, she said she was so ashamed and asked if Jack could forgive her.

Jack got upset with himself since Gwen was alone with no back up. He felt like Gwen did what she had to do to survive and felt guilty that she was even in that position.

Jack was glad Gwen got out of that life before something horrible happened to her and assured Gwen she’d always have a place in his life and heart.

Once Gwen was alone on Monday’s Days episode, she muttered to herself about being a coward.

Gwen just couldn’t let her father hate her since she didn’t want to lose him. As for Xander, he was still a bloody mess after his fight with EJ, but he vowed to have the last laugh!

In Boston, Abigail still felt to blame for killing Gwen’s unborn baby and wanted honesty from Chad. She asked if any part of Chad hated her for what happened to his child.

Chad assured Abigail that wasn’t the case and begged her to fly back home with him. He wanted to be a family again with the kids, but Abigail suggested this wasn’t just about Gwen and what went down with the baby.

This was also about Chad’s unfaithfulness and Abigail’s struggle to trust him. Chad promised he could help Abigail trust him again and that he’d be devoted to making her happy from now on.

After Chad said he was nothing without Abigail, he once again pushed her to come home. Abigail finally agreed and embraced a relieved Chad.

In Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) office, she saw through Johnny’s attempt to charm her. Johnny admitted he needed investors for his indie movie, but he hadn’t settled on a theme just yet.

Marlena agreed to talk to John Black (Drake Hogestyn) about providing some money and urged Johnny to get in touch with Will Horton (Chandler Massey), who had spent time in Hollywood working on the Sami Brady story.

Johnny thought that could be just what he was looking for – and later, Johnny mentioned the idea to EJ.

Johnny didn’t think EJ would be a fan of the subject matter and pointed out that some of the characters wouldn’t get their happy Hollywood ending.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say some great movie drama’s brewing, so stay tuned to DOOL.
