Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, September 13, teases that Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will surrender to Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) while Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans) orders Doug Williams’ (Bill Hayes) tests. Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will also make a violent move to protect his freedom, so let’s discuss what’s coming up on DOOL.
In Boston, Chad will insist that he just couldn’t stay away any longer. EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) may not be Chad’s favorite person most of the time, but he was right about not waiting around. Chad needed to get his act together and show Abigail he was willing to fight for their marriage.
Now that Chad has flown to see Abigail in person, he knows it might be his last chance to salvage things. Chad will talk about how much he’s missed Abigail and how much the kids have missed her, too.
Chad will be deeply sorry for setting their marriage issues in motion through his betrayal with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien).
Of course, Chad and Abigail are facing more problems than that, but Chad will think the most important thing is that they still love each other. That love can overcome just about anything in Chad’s eyes.
Once Chad makes a heartfelt pitch about their reunion, Abigail will cave in and decide she’s ready to go home – though she’ll make it clear they still have a lot of work to do.
As for Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes), she’ll take Doug to Kayla’s office and discuss her husband’s recent memory lapses. Julie tried to brush them off as the typical blunders that come with old age, but it’s obvious there’s more going on.
When Doug had no idea who Alice Horton (Francis Reid) was, that was the last straw for Julie. She knows dementia is a real possibility and will push Kayla to order the tests Doug needs.
While Kayla asks Doug a few questions and schedules a follow-up appointment for in-depth analysis, Xander will have to think fast. It looks like Xander will dive for EJ’s phone and try to keep his freedom.
EJ intends to call the judge and make it so Xander gets arrested all over again, but Xander just needs a chance to go down to the station and collect EJ’s cash.
Days spoilers say Xander and EJ will come to blows as their argument spirals out of control.
However, Xander may push EJ to just hold his horses for five minutes, wait for his million bucks and get out of his life. They can both end this contentious arrangement on a peaceful note if EJ will just chill!
As for Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford), he’ll anxiously await Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) explanation for Dr. Clay Snyder’s (Michael Lowry) blackmail.
Will Gwen admit the truth about the timing of her miscarriage or sell Xander’s hooker story instead? Either way, Gwen’s got some explaining to do.
Other Days spoilers state that Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) will try to tug at Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) heartstrings.
Marlena has a soft spot for her grandson, so Johnny will insist she’s the one who can make his movie dreams come true.
Johnny’s planning to make a film about Sami Brady DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) life – though we should point out there’ll be some snags with it as time goes on.
This is a setup for a redo of Marlena’s ‘90s possession storyline, which was all kinds of sinister and included an exorcism.
Johnny’s initial Sami movie plans may fall through, but the point is he wants to make a film – and he needs Marlena’s bank account to help him finance it! We’ll keep you posted as other Days news and updates emerge.
