Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for the next two weeks, June 14 to June 25, tease that Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will face a doomed takeover vote while Xander Cook Kiriakis’ (Paul Telfer) rescue effort goes horribly wrong. Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) will also hope to sabotage Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) shot with Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin), so here’s what fans can look forward to.
During the week of June 14-18, Jake will make a major confession to Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow). Days fans know Kate is faking her blindness and memory gap, so Jake will gently fill her in on his hookup with Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) and expect to end their relationship.
However, Kate will think fast and forgive Jake. She’ll act like Jake only landed in bed with Gabi because of Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) trickery and want to move forward.
Kate will pretend to be all clingy and needy, so Jake really won’t have much of a choice here. He’ll continue to stand by Kate and infuriate Gabi over their delayed future together.
Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will soon catch on and determine that Kate’s blind act is all about revenge, but it looks like he’ll keep his mouth shut.
As for Abe Carver (James Reynolds), he’ll open up to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) about his growing feelings for Paulina Price (Jackée Harry).
Abe and Paulina will lock lips as they remain intensely attracted to each other, but problems are on the horizon.
Paulina isn’t being honest with Abe about the nature of her plans for the Horton Town Square. The closer Paulina gets to Abe, the more drama it’s going to cause when the truth comes out down the road.
In the meantime, Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) will make waves when she lets Paulina meet Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). There’ll be some uncomfortable moments – in part due to the kiss Chanel and Allie had not too long ago.
Paulina will find out about that smooch and express total shock, but Chanel will do her best to make her mom see it wasn’t a big deal.
Of course, that doesn’t mean Chanel is over the kiss – and neither is Allie since she’s been having flashbacks of that unexpected connection.
Allie and Chanel will grow closer as they prepare to get Sweet Bits Bakery up and running, so we’ll see if they eventually head into romantic territory.
During the week of June 21-25, Philip will try to ruin Brady’s chances with Chloe. We’ll see Philip stand in the way of Brady and Chloe spending time together – and Philip will take the opportunity to flirt with Chloe as well.
Over with EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel), he’ll solidify a plan to oust Jake from DiMera Enterprises. Chad and Tony DiMera (Thaao Penghlis) will team up with Jake – and it looks like they’ll manage to score a new boardroom vote on who should be CEO.
Jake will hope he can count on Kate’s vote, but this seems like another way for her to score some revenge by betraying and going against him.
One way or another, EJ seems poised to take control of DiMera Enterprises. As for Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo), they’ll have a hard time hiding their cheating secret.
It’ll get even harder when Sami realizes EJ has found a way to reach out to Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk).
Kristen could blow the lid off the betrayal bomb and leave EJ livid if that’s what she wants to do. Sami will hope for the best and prepare for the worst as she waits on the results of EJ and Kristen’s communication.
There’s a good chance this will simply be a close call, but Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) will be on the verge of finding out what Sami’s hiding.
Nicole will also get some guidance from Xander, who’ll urge her to get some dirt on Sami – and that’ll bring Nicole’s decision to question Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo). There’ll be a battle going on regarding who’ll expose the other one first: guilty Sami or guilty Nicole!
Back with Xander, he’ll rush to Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) defense and make a mess of things in the process. Dr. Clay Snyder (Michael Lowry) will push too hard and set up a dangerous situation – one that’s likely to end in his death!
Gwen and Xander will find themselves in a tight spot, so they may have to work together to dispose of the body. As for Kayla Johnson (Mary Beth Evans), she’ll be on a mission for answers about Dr. Snyder – and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will do his best to help Kayla solve the mystery.
Dr. Snyder might go MIA and leave Kayla to wonder if something might’ve happened to him.
Xander and Gwen are most likely going to throw Dr. Snyder’s body in the lake based on DOOL’s summer promo. Over with Paulina again, she’ll have some shocking updates for Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers).
Philip will also have an intriguing offer to make, so Chloe will listen up and decide if she wants to take it.
Finally, Days spoilers say Lucas and Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will be on the same page about EJ’s return – meaning they won’t like it one bit! Neither one of them approves of EJ, and neither one will think EJ’s good enough for Sami.
Nevertheless, Sami will resolve to do everything in her power to keep her marriage afloat.
