Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) will land in hot water shortly after Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) murder, but this won’t be an open and shut case.
It won’t be long until Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) considers other suspects – and you can bet Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) will be one of them.
Nicole already warned Charlie that there are a lot of people in town who want him dead, including her. Later, Nicole started talking about taking the law into her own hands. That earned Nicole a warning from Rafe, who didn’t want Nicole making a mess and preventing him from putting Charlie behind bars.
At some point, there’s probably going to be evidence that points in Nicole’s direction. It’d be silly to have Nicole making death threats and never follow up on them. Besides, it’ll be unbelievably soapy if Nicole falls under suspicion since she’s been growing so close to Rafe.
It’s doubtful Nicole will actually be guilty, but she could end up getting arrested anyway. That’s especially true if someone like Sami’s pointing the finger at Nicole to take pressure off herself. It’d be a great way to reignite the rivalry between Nicole and Sami in the coming weeks.
Regardless, Nicole will be going through an incredibly stressful time – and she’ll surely want her husband, Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan), to stand by her. Days spoilers say Nicole will likely push Eric to come home, but will he delay that trip?
It’s already out of character for Eric to be making unilateral decisions that affect his marriage. It doesn’t make sense for Eric to make the villagers a priority over his own marriage, which he knows is suffering because of his extended mission in the Congo.
Nevertheless, Greg Vaughan left the show and has been working on other projects, so DOOL writers have had to find a way to handle that.
Since there’s no sign of Eric returning at this point, he might abandon Nicole at her time of need and insist that he can’t break his promise to the villagers or something along those lines.
If Eric leaves Nicole to face murder charges without him, that could really be the last straw! Days of Our Lives spoilers say Nicole has some tough drama ahead of her, so she may have to deal with the accusations without Eric to support her.
As for Rafe, he can keep digging and get to the bottom of who really did the deed. We’ll keep you in the loop as other Days news and updates emerge.
