Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) will make a big splash once she reenters the canvas. DOOL fans can expect Sami to arrive back on the scene before February sweeps concludes, so it won’t be much longer now.
Of course, Sami will also show up just in time for the upcoming whodunit storyline.
You might’ve noticed that Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) storyline has stalled a bit since he was exposed as Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) attacker. That’s probably because they needed the timing to work out for Sami’s return.
Sami needs to be around when Charlie gets killed off – and it’s indeed looking like Charlie will wind up dead in DOOL’s murder mystery.
Based on some Days hints we’re hearing so far, it looks like Sami’s first day back should be right around Charlie’s last! Sami may fall under suspicion right away since she’s Allie’s fierce mother and has been known to do vengeful things before.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) often tries to protect the people he cares about and shield them from consequences. Rafe might feel particularly protective of Sami in this case since Allie’s been through more than enough.
The last thing Allie needs is for her mom to go to prison for killing her assaulter!
It’s doubtful Sami will actually be guilty since she’s perhaps she’ll be the most obvious suspect. Nevertheless, Sami could land in incredibly hot water if the evidence mounts anyway.
Whether Sami’s innocent or not, Rafe may reconnect with his ex in some ways and do his best to protect her.
Naturally, the same principle applies if Allie falls under suspicions and needs to be protected. That’s a situation that could lead to Sami and Rafe bonding as well. Sami would be incredibly grateful to Rafe for his efforts to protect her daughter.
Regardless, Days of Our Lies spoilers say this murder mystery brings the potential for Rafe and Sami to be drawn together once again.
Since Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) is drifting away from Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) and developing a stronger bond with Rafe herself, it’s easy to see how Nicole might get jealous of Sami and Rafe’s reconnection.
Sami will have recovering EJ DiMera (last played by James Scott) waiting on her in Europe, but that won’t certainly stop Sami from cheating if that’s what she wants to do. Sami is no stranger to landing in her exes’ beds, including Rafe’s.
Could this lead to a Nicole, Rafe and Sami love triangle? Eric and EJ are off screen and won’t be part of the picture, so that could add a soapy, complicated element.
If nothing else, Nicole’s territorial nature could tip Sami off to the fact her rival feels more than friendly toward Rafe.
That could spell bad news for Nicole and Eric’s long-distance relationship, which is already starting to crumble. Bottom line, Nicole is already in Rafe’s orbit and Sami will soon have some good reasons to be in Rafe’s orbit as well.
Since these three will inevitably get caught up in some drama together, Nicole and Sami’s rivalry may erupt again – this time, over Rafe!
