Susan Banks’ Sixth Sense
DOOL spoilers reveal that a lot of fans expect Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) to be the Salemite who has visions this time around. Chanel does play Celeste Perrault (Tanya Boyd) in Johnny DiMera’s (Carson Boatman) possession movie.
However, she is young and too focused on her own issues with Johnny and Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). Plus, Chanel will have the added emotional burden of being angry with Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) and doesn’t even go to the wedding.
Even if Chanel does have visions, her ability might not be developed enough to deal with the magnitude of the devil. Chanel would be susceptible to Satan’s trickery.
Plus, we have Susan, who has already warned Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) about their baby.
We know Susan escapes the DiMera crypt because she continues to help Ciara try to figure out who is a threat to the unborn child. At least, a woman who appears to be Susan helps Ciara.
DOOL Spoilers: Redemption for Keeping Secret
Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) is the one keeping Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Lani Price Grant (Sal Stowers) from the truth. However, she nearly confessed to Lani but Olivia wouldn’t let her.
So, Olivia needs a redemption story and helping to defeat the devil would guarantee forgiveness. Susan might be the one with the visions, but we don’t see her strong enough to battle Satan.
Marlena Evans Still Possessed
Days of Our Lives spoilers reveal that in the weekly preview, Marlena is freed from the devil’s grip, but only for a few moments. Susan is seen with devilish glowing eyes.
However, we know that during the week of November 15, Marlena is back to being possessed. So, the devil is either “changing appearances” as Marlena warned or possessing Susan was just temporary.
Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Leading Salem Into Battle
It is teased that during the week of November 15, Olivia senses something bad about Marlena. Of course, Olivia is an old woman and can’t wage war on Satan by herself. However, she does have the type of personality that could get people to listen, whereas not many pay attention to Susan’s rambling.
It’s clear that one person won’t be able to defeat the devil. Before repossessing Marlena, the devil prepared to safeguard against the power of crosses and holy water.
It’s going to take an army of faith and this could force the whole town of Salem to band together. Olivia just might be that person to lead them into a battle of good vs. evil and send the devil straight back to hell.
