Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Chanel Dupree (Precious Way) will explode over Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) betrayal, so look for her to discover a dream-crushing secret and cut her mom out of her life.
DOOL fans know Paulina and Chanel have had a pretty rocky relationship. They haven’t spent a whole lot of time together in recent years – and then Paulina cut Chanel off financially. That led to even more conflict between them, but Chanel’s finally going what Paulina asked.
Chanel is making her own way by trying to fulfill a dream she actually cares about. She’s fully committed to Sweet Bits Bakery and wants to make it a huge success.
The problem is Paulina’s keeping a secret that could set that bakery up to fail.
Paulina is betraying her daughter by hiding the truth and letting her get her hopes up for something that can’t pay off.
Chanel found the real blueprint for Paulina’s Horton Town Square initiative, which brought confusion and questions. She could tell it wasn’t what Paulina promised, but Paulina lied about her assistant mislabeling it and threw Chanel off the trail.
There have been other times when Paulina nearly came clean, but almost confessing isn’t enough! It doesn’t matter that Paulina feels guilty since she isn’t doing anything about it.
Instead, Days spoilers say Chanel is growing increasingly excited about this new business of hers.
Now Paulina knows Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) is involved, so that makes it even worse. Allie told Paulina she was a single mom who could really use the job and wanted to set a good example for her son.
Paulina is setting Allie up to fail as well right along with Chanel, so that may rile Chanel up even further. Her bestie will get hurt due to Paulina’s Horton Town Square truth.
It seems like Paulina basically wants to turn the place into one big shopping mall that benefits her and puts all the smaller, less profitable establishments out of business.
Whatever the case, Days spoilers suggest Chanel will go ballistic once she uncovers what Paulina’s deceived her about. The news is going to crush Chanel’s dream and cause a major setback in their mother-daughter bond.
Chanel will likely cut Paulina out of the picture completely, even if that decision is just temporary. There’s going to be some serious drama going on, so we’ll offer updates as other Days details become available.
