Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that the NBC soap is promoting a new family – though it actually has ties to an existing one on canvas. You may have heard by now that Jackée Harry is joining the cast of Days of Our Lives as Paulina, a mysterious character who’s connected to Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) family.
Ever since Harry first broke the news, she’s been teasing that her character would have a daughter – and now we know who’ll be playing her. According to Blackfilm.com, Precious Way has been cast as Paulina’s daughter, Chanel.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Paulina and Chanel will make their upcoming DOOL debut together in their new roles. These characters are set to hit the air in March, though the end of February sweeps should set up their new storyline.
As the kidnapping chaos winds down, Paulina and Chanel will arrive in Salem. It’ll be in connection to the twin snatching mayhem, so perhaps having the Carver family plastered all over the news will be part of the equation.
If Paulina and Chanel didn’t know where Eli and Lani were before, she’ll surely know after Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano) is publicly revealed to be alive and behind the abductions. However, it could also be that Paulina decides family is important after this ordeal. Paulina may think it’s time to reconnect with Eli and Lani as well as make sure they’re OK after such a traumatic experience.
Days of Our Lives spoilers confirm Paulina and Chanel fit in with Lani and Eli’s family somehow, but the details are being kept under wraps. Naturally, Eli and Lani have two separate families besides the one they’ve created together.
Based on some hints the show’s offered about new love for Abe Carver (James Reynolds), it’s possible Paulina won’t actually be blood related to the Carver side. That’d leave the door wide open for Paulina and Abe’s complicated love story down the road.
However, it’s also possible Days will take another route and make Paulina a sibling for Abe instead. It all depends on what route DOOL writers want to take. Regardless, it’ll be fun to see Paulina and Chanel shake up Salem, so we’ll look forward to their joint debut!
