Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that a surprising suspect will emerge in the case of who killed Charlie Dale (Mike Manning). There’ll be some questions and concerns regarding Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) and Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams), but the investigation will take another shocking turn.
DOOL fans will see the focus shift to John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and Marlena Evans’ (Drake Hogestyn) family soon enough.
After some new clues come to light, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will corner Belle Brady (Martha Madison) for a grilling session. Belle will be on the hot seat during the week of April 19-23, so she may get caught in a twisted web of lies.
Days viewers know Belle seemed completely innocent when she was defending Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney). Belle appeared genuinely frustrated with Sami for not giving her the whole story and repeatedly asked if Sami killed Charlie.
However, Rafe may wonder if that was all an act. There’s no doubt that Belle had a motive since Charlie posed a serious threat to her daughter, Claire Brady (Isabel Durant). Belle delivered a threat of her own shortly before Charlie’s death, so she’s certainly still on the suspect list.
Of course, Belle will no doubt insist she’s innocent despite whatever evidence pops up. Belle might have to admit there was more to the story if she landed at Charlie’s apartment that night. It’s possible that Belle – like so many others in this murder mystery – went to see Charlie but didn’t actually fire the fatal bullet.
Perhaps when Belle demanded the truth from Sami, she really didn’t know what her sister might’ve done. Belle might’ve worried that after her own visit to Charlie’s place, Sami came along and killed Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) assaulter.
Now that Sami has been cleared, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Rafe will ultimately turn his attention to Belle and any secrets she might be keeping. Just like Sami protected Allie, we may see that Belle’s been protecting or at least thinks she’s protecting Claire.
Naturally, there’s no guarantee that Belle was behind the actual murder or even that Claire was for that matter. Claire also seemed pretty innocent when she kept pushing to find out if Allie killed Charlie. Regardless of how all this pans out, Rafe will take a closer look at Belle and what she’s been hiding.
