Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) could have some bedroom comfort for Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) after her split from Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan). Will Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) be rocked by a heartbreaking betrayal next?
DOOL fans know Rafe’s been trying to ignore his feelings for Nicole – mainly because she’s married. Of course, that’s not going to be the case for much longer since Eric will dump Nicole in the aftermath of her cheating exposure.
It’ll definitely change the nature of Rafe and Nicole’s friendship without that marriage barrier holding him back.
However, there’s still the matter of Rafe’s relationship with Ava. Rafe certainly enjoys Ava’s company and has fallen for her in many ways.
Even so, Rafe can’t shake what he feels for Nicole. They’ve been friends for quite some time, but there’s been the potential for so much more in recent months.
Like Rafe, Nicole’s also been holding herself back due to her marriage to Eric. Things will change on Nicole’s end as well once she no longer has a husband.
Ava’s already feeling like her relationship with Rafe is perhaps too good to be true – and obviously it is.
Rafe isn’t being honest about the depth of his feelings for Nicole, and those feelings are bound to lead to major trouble.
In true soap fashion, it’s doubtful honesty will come before Rafe hops in bed with Nicole.
Days characters tend to act now and explain later! It makes situations like this more painful, but that’s almost always how DOOL stories go.
Days spoilers say Eric will pack up his stuff and head back to Africa after he finds out Nicole cheated with Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer).
Nicole will have to accept their split and find a way to carry on. Once Rafe gets updates, he’ll surely reach out and console Nicole as best as he can.
It’s in those moments of comfort that Rafe and Nicole could get caught up in what they’re feeling.
Will Rafe fall into bed with Nicole soon after? It seems likely under the circumstances, so Ava may become the next character betrayed in all this.
