Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sami Brady DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) return is on the way – and that always means big drama! What tricks will Sami have up her sleeve this time around? You can bet Sami will shake up Salem and keep things interesting once she makes her long-awaited comeback.
In the new issue of SOD, Days Head Writer Ron Carlivati previewed Sami’s return and assured DOOL fans that some good stuff’s looming. Carlivati counts himself lucky to be able to write these return stints for Sweeney and really seems to like Sami as a character.
Since Sami’s upcoming stint will be a long one, there’ll be even more places to go with Sami and her story. As you can imagine, Sami’s return will kick off in style! Days of Our Lives spoilers say a grand entrance is ahead for Sami, so that’s something to look forward to.
“I always like to introduce Sami with a bang, in a big way and at a critical moment, and this time, all of those boxes are checked,” Carlivati teased. “What’s great about her, too, is that she usually finds herself in a mess and it’s usually of her own making.”
It definitely sounds like Sami will end up stuck in chaos – or perhaps become the cause of chaos – right off the bat. Naturally, we have to look a little deeper here and see what Carlivati might be pointing to.
There are some interesting clues to ponder – like the idea of bringing Sami in with a bang and at this critical moment Carlivati’s talking about.
Could the “bang” refer to a literal one from a gun? That’s a possibility to consider since a murder mystery is coming up, which would fit for the critical moment part.
Since Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) will likely be the victim of a February sweeps whodunit, it’s no coincidence that Sami’s arriving on the scene at the same time.
Sami might even threaten Charlie shortly before he meets a grim fate and land on the hot seat as a result. Of course, if Sami’s a suspect from the get-go, that makes it less likely that she’ll be the actual culprit. Soaps never give away the end of the story that quickly!
Even so, Sami certainly won’t be sorry if Allie Horton’s (Lindsay Arnold) attacker turns up dead. Sami may behave in a way that makes her look guilty and complicate Charlie’s murder case.
