Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) may be a mob target – meaning the Vitali crime family might’ve been involved in her kidnapping. Will the drama surrounding Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) death come back to haunt? Let’s consider some crucial clues as we try to figure out what’s in store.
For starters, Days made it seem like EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) might be behind Sami’s snatching, but wouldn’t that be far too obvious?
It doesn’t line up with the way the show normally does mysteries since there are usually several twists and turns before the big reveal.
That brings us to another clue: the recent mentions of the Vital mob family. Days is bringing the mob back into the story for a reason, so keep that in mind.
Richard Steinmetz – who previously played a mobster on General Hospital – is headed to DOOL and could be given a new mob-related role.
We also know Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will take the lead on worrying about Sami and seeking answers about her disappearance.
Days spoilers say Allie has a crazy storyline in her future that’ll give her a sense of déjà vu in a way. Something connected to Charlie would fit the bill – and we still haven’t met Charlie’s father, Jimmy Giacomo.
Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) was Charlie’s murderer, but we can’t forget how Sami came blowing back into town on a mission to kill Charlie.
Sami would’ve done it if Jan hadn’t already done it for her.
Sami also fired an extra bullet into Charlie’s corpse, so Jimmy and the rest of the Vitali clan probably found that rather disrespectful – and it’s never a good idea to disrespect those with mob ties!
It just feels significant that there was mob talk shortly before Sami was snatched in a very mob-like way.
When you combine that with Allie’s heavy story involvement and the new guy who’s probably going to be a mobster, this may have the Vitali clan written all over it.
