Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that the show has put out a new Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) love battle preview. EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) will fight for the same woman, so Sami’s husband and old flame will be at odds.
Before EJ returns to DOOL, Lucas will decide to make his move with Sami. He’ll think they’ve danced around their feelings long enough and won’t believe these hookups are just happening out of nowhere.
There’s always been a powerful bond between Lucas and Sami, so he’ll want to get back what they’ve lost.
Lucas will declare that they’ve been in love with each other since they were kids. He’ll think that spark is still there between them and will call it “magic.” Lucas will think they can recapture that magic if Sami will just surrender to what’s in her heart and trust him on this.
However, Sami will point out that she’s married and never should’ve cheated in the first place. It’s not that Sami doesn’t love EJ. It’s just that EJ has been giving Sami the cold shoulder and has been angry at the world.
Sami isn’t sure EJ will ever feel the way he used to feel about her again, but she’ll still think her marriage vows should matter.
It’ll be hard for sobbing Sami to understand how she could hurt EJ like this – though EJ doesn’t know Sami betrayed him according to Days spoilers. Nevertheless, Sami will be uncertain of just how much EJ’s in the loop on as he shows back up in Salem.
When Dan Feuerriegel makes his debut as EJ DiMera on Wednesday, June 9, it’ll leave Sami floored. Part of Sami will worry that EJ found out about the cheating and is only there to unleash his wrath.
Fortunately, EJ will have a much different plan in mind as he apologizes for shutting Sami out.
Days spoilers say EJ will give a sincere speech about his love for Sami and will want to treat her right from now on. EJ is ready to be an attentive husband who adores Sami like he used to.
This is everything Sami’s been hoping for, so she’ll stick with her hubby and leave Lucas brokenhearted for now.
