Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Suzanne Rogers will return as Maggie Kiriakis, so will this mom finally realize Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) is missing? Multiple Days actors have discussed working with Rogers again – and Jason47 confirmed the news of Rogers’ comeback on his Facebook page. Following an extended absence, Maggie will resurface in Salem later in 2021.
It’s always nice to hear about an established vet returning to the show. Of course, we have to consider how Maggie might fit into whatever stories Days has cooking up next. We can certainly think of one way for DOOL to use Maggie down the road.
Fans can’t forget that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) drugged Sarah and shipped her off to live on a deserted island, which was a rather weak exit strategy.
It’s not realistic for Maggie to go months without hearing from her daughter and not consider it a red flag. Maggie and Sarah had a close relationship, so she would surely realize something was up.
That’s especially true since Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder) got dragged into the drama. All it would take is a phone call to Rex to confirm that Sarah isn’t with him and dumped him after previously wanting to reunite.
Maggie would definitely find Sarah’s behavior out of character and concerning.
You can bet Maggie will want to reconnect with Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) when she pops up again. These two have an interesting bond, so Maggie may get updates from Xander on Sarah leaving him and struggle to make sense of her throwing away their future.
If anyone can figure out something’s off here, it’s Maggie! Days needs to resolve this Sarah situation somehow since it makes no sense for her loved ones to not wonder where she is.
Even if the show isn’t bringing Sarah back permanently, they could at least have her discovered and sent to a treatment facility for help dealing with the effects of that hallucinogen.
Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) needed professional assistance and medication, so Sarah might as well.
Regardless, Maggie’s return is something to look forward to and perhaps offers hope that Sarah’s disappearance will be addressed. Days of Our Lives spoilers say some shockers and shakeups are looming in Salem, so stay tuned to DOOL!
