Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers reveal that a battle’s been heating up, so we want to know if you’re Team Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) or Team Claire Brady (Isabel Durant). Whose side are you on in this fierce family feud?
Days fans know the conflict really got out of hand in the July 9 episode, so some harsh things were said on both sides.
Ciara can’t remember the long journey back to forgiveness and trust she faced with Claire, so she’s constantly throwing Claire’s “firebug” past in her face.
To be fair, most people would be pretty wary of someone who tried to set them ablaze more than once!
Claire certainly had a jealous, erratic history even before her character took that fiery turn. In some ways, it’s easy to understand why Ciara would hold a grudge since she can’t remember letting Claire make amends.
Plus, Claire’s being awfully pushy about Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and trying to act like Ciara’s engagement to Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) is a terrible mistake.
That may be true, but Ciara feels how she feels in this moment. Perhaps all the pressure is making matters worse!
However, it was definitely satisfying to watch Claire stand up to Ciara and say some things that arguably needed to be said.
Although many Days viewers can understand Ciara’s perspective, plenty of DOOL fans can understand Claire’s perspective, too. It felt right for Claire to defend herself and call Ciara out.
Claire put in the work to get better at Bayview and then worked hard to regain Ciara’s trust once she was free.
It has to be frustrating to have all that wiped away – particularly when Claire and Ciara used to be so close as kids.
The locket Claire had during all the Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) drama served as a reminder of how far this relationship has crumbled.
As for all the “firebug” and “psychopath” insults, it seems rather insensitive to not recognize that Claire was truly mentally ill. Maybe Claire was right to decide she was done groveling.
Ciara has partial amnesia, but it somehow gave her a total personality transplant since she’s indeed turned into a “stone-cold bitch” as Claire claimed.
