Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) desperation will lead to a terrible decision. DOOL fans know there are major risks associated with Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) memory serum – and Ben knows about those risks, too.
That’s why Ben initially balked at Jake DiMera’s (Brandon Barash) suggestion of using the serum to jog Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) memory. Ben later seemed more open to the idea, but he once again decided against it after discussing the potential harm with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall).
However, Ben is lonely and battling a broken heart right now. This devastated husband isn’t thinking clearly, so Ben will get his hands on a dose of that memory serum after all and prepare to inject Ciara with it.
Days spoilers say Ben will hope for a breakthrough that’ll finally remove this amnesia reunion hurdle. Ciara will be asleep when Ben first inches closer. She won’t realize Ben’s trying to inject her until she opens her eyes and panics over what she views as a weapon.
This will just fuel that dark and dangerous image that Ben’s trying to cut ties with. Sadly, Ben will give Ciara another reason to think the worst of him in this desperate moment.
It’ll be Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) who emerges as Ciara’s knight in shining armor on Thursday, April 15 as the hero saves her from Ben’s injection.
When Theo walks in on Ben trying to inject Ciara with Dr. Rolf’s wild drug, he’ll immediately intervene to save Ciara. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Theo will march over and physically attack Ben to get him away from Ciara.
Ben will still want a chance to inject the drug, so he’ll struggle with Theo until the reality of what he’s doing sinks in.
Theo may remind Ben that he’s always said he’d never hurt Ciara – and an injection of this serum could indeed hurt Ciara. Ben can’t guarantee that Ciara can avoid an adverse reaction, so the risks may not be worth the potential benefits in this case.
That’s especially true since Ciara isn’t a back-from-the-dead victim, so this drug wouldn’t even be used properly. It’s meant as an antidote for people who return from the brink of death through the other serum, so that makes it even less likely to work on Ciara.
As Theo pries the syringe from Ben’s fingers, it seems like Ben will finally snap out of it and realize this is the wrong call. Of course it’s the wrong call – Ciara gets to decide what gets injected into her body, not Ben!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ben will just want Ciara to understand his perspective. It’s killing Ben since he can remember their gripping love story, but Ciara’s missing every last detail.
After Ben pulls this serum stunt, Ciara will kick him out and Theo will no doubt back her up. Ben appears at this point selfish and crazy – not a good look in Ciara’s eyes.
It won’t be long until Ciara kisses Theo to express her feelings and deep gratitude, so Days of Our Lives spoilers say that’ll bring them even closer. We’ll provide updates as other Days news rolls in.
