Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, December 23, teases that Lucas Horton’s (Bryan Dattilo) goon will accuse EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) while Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) has a Santa run-in. A fire will also break out at the Horton house, so things are about to heat up in Salem!
At the police station, Lucas will be sweating bullets since the old prison buddy he hired got caught. He’ll worry his accomplice will sing like a canary and rat him out for kidnapping Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney).
Fortunately, DOOL spoilers say Lucas’ goon will prove helpful. He’ll end up accusing EJ of the snatching, so that’ll send Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) to the DiMera mansion soon enough.
EJ will be in the midst of a wonderful reunion with Sami when Rafe barges in and makes an arrest.
Of course, EJ will be confused over the charges he’s facing. When Rafe insists EJ abducted Sami, EJ will argue that he did no such thing!
EJ will no doubt beg Sami to believe him, but Rafe will drag EJ down the Salem PD for questioning and will eventually throw him in lockup.
As for Lucas, he’ll have the power to clear EJ’s name, but he certainly won’t do it. Instead, Lucas will hope this could serve as another chance to break up Sami and EJ’s marriage – maybe permanently this time.
Naturally, that’ll be wishful thinking on Lucas’ part. Sooner or later, almost every shocking secret is exposed on Days.
Speaking of shocking secrets, “Belle Brady” (Martha Madison) will keep a big one since she’s actually Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) under the devil’s transformative spell.
Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) will find it strange when “Belle” seems so pushy about sleeping with him, but “Belle” will act like they deserve this chance to relax – especially since it’s their anniversary.
After Shawn strips down and gets under the covers with Jan, the real Belle will land at that same hotel room.
Belle will demand to know who the other “Belle” is, so Jan will mess with her until the truth ultimately comes out.
Other Days spoilers say Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) will come out of hiding for Christmas Eve.
Doug Williams (Bill Hayes) and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will be tickled pink to see Ciara and Ben at the Horton house, but major trouble’s brewing.
After possessed Marlena has a weird encounter with Santa in the town square, she’ll head to the Horton residence and plan to cause chaos.
Marlena will still want control of Ciara’s unborn child, so that’ll be one of her motives here – the other one being to have fun as she unleashes more terror.
Marlena will make a grand entrance that results in the Christmas tree bursting into flames, but Julie will manage to put the fire out.
The devil will save a truly blazing display for the end of the week, so there’ll be plenty of fiery DOOL drama.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say possessed Marlena will keep fighting for that baby she so desperately wants.
