Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Thursday, December 9 Recap – Ava Pulls Knife on Gabi – Sami Accuses Nicole of Kidnapping

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, December 9, reveals that Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) pulled a knife on Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) while a Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) DNA match was confirmed. Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) also accused Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) of being behind her kidnapping, so let’s talk about the latest Days action.

At Nicole’s place on Thursday’s DOOL episode, Sami recapped her kidnapping ordeal and thought the motive must’ve been revenge.

Sami figured Nicole ordered her kidnapping to get back at her, but Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) and Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) had plenty of logical reasons why that wasn’t true.

As for Sami’s marriage, she made it clear that it wasn’t over. Sami realized EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) hadn’t been brought in the loop on her abduction yet and wanted to go talk to him.

Lucas wondered if Sami would really go crawling back to that “bum,” but Sami took off to go get her man.

At the DiMera mansion, EJ finished interrupting Nicole’s almost kiss with Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering).

EJ found out Rafe had been there to ask questions about Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) escape, but he denied knowing anything and sent the police commissioner on his way.

Once EJ and Nicole were inside, he called her out on not being over Rafe. Nicole pointed out EJ wasn’t over Sami either, but EJ insisted that his ex-wife didn’t have any hold on him. He wanted to focus on the fascinating, beautiful woman in front of him instead.

Nicole briefly imagined Rafe was standing there instead of EJ, so she suggested she could use a distraction. She wondered if EJ wanted to head up to the bedroom, so he decided he was feeling used in a good way.

EJ was more than willing to try to wipe Rafe from Nicole’s consciousness, so they ultimately stripped down and got passionate in bed.

Afterward, Nicole and EJ teased each other about whether they were able to forget Rafe and Sami. When Sami approached the doorway, she fumed as she saw EJ and Nicole canoodling under the covers.

At the Hernandez house, Gabi once again taunted Ava about how it was only a matter of time before Rafe dumped her for good.

Gabi hurled insults until Ava picked up a nearby knife and held it in front of Gabi. Ava urged Gabi to remember what happened to Carmine the next time she wanted to run her mouth.

When Rafe arrived, Gabi angrily complained to her brother that Ava was going to stab her! Rafe was in no mood to deal with his sister’s drama, so he told her to just take her ice cream to the bedroom.

Gabi reluctantly agreed, but she suggested Rafe shouldn’t come crying to her when Ava stabs him in the back.

After Ava reheated Rafe’s food for him, he mentioned questioning Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) before heading to the DiMera mansion to grill Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn).

Rafe said he ran into Nicole there as well, but he lied about merely giving her updates on Kristen. As for EJ, Rafe thought he was lying through his teeth about his lack of knowledge regarding Kristen’s escape.

At the police station on Thursday’s Days episode, Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) told Belle Brady (Martha Madison) about all the evidence that was mounting against Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).

Belle struggled to believe that Brady would get drunk and attack Brady like that, but Brady’s prints were the only ones on the knife.

Since Shawn didn’t want to upset Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) by asking for a DNA sample, Belle suggested there was a fast way to get Philip’s DNA.

Belle pointed out that Philip had been through his fair share of paternity tests, so his DNA report was already in the database at the hospital.

After Shawn took off to check into it, Belle muttered to herself and wondered what Brady had done.

Later, Shawn came back with the news that Philip’s blood was indeed a match for the blood on the knife.

In Brady’s hospital room, he woke up with a headache and admitted to Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) this felt like a hangover. Brady was stunned when Chloe revealed that she found him passed out drunk by the river.

Chloe also heard about the knife with the same blood type as Philip’s on it and the fact that Philip’s phone was in his pocket.

Chloe confessed that Philip was still missing and showed Brady the threatening texts on his own phone. Brady didn’t see how he would’ve made it to the river if he was blackout drunk.

Brady argued that he couldn’t have even said his own name in that state, much less compose lengthy threatening messages.

Brady didn’t remember ripping out the tree or doing any of the things he was being accused of.

Chloe mentioned that they were dragging the river for Philip’s body, so Brady realized he was at the center of a homicide investigation.

Chloe added that Brady woke up briefly and said Philip didn’t deserve Chloe, but he swore on his kids’ lives that he didn’t attack Philip.

Brady didn’t care what Shawn thought, but he did care about Chloe’s opinion and inquired about whether she really thought he was guilty.

Days of Our Lives spoilers say Brady’s situation will get far worse before it gets better, so stick with DOOL.
