Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Thursday, January 14, tease that Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will be in denial. Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) just admitted that she didn’t simply sleep in a chair that night at the Salem Inn.
Gwen assured Abigail that she slept with her husband, but Abigail may fire back that she doesn’t believe Gwen on Thursday.
Although the trust between Abigail and Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) has taken a hit lately, Abigail will still feel like Chad would’ve told her if he betrayed her with Gwen.
However, Gwen will lay it on thick about what a talented lover Chad is. Perhaps Gwen will offer some details that she couldn’t know if she didn’t actually do the deed with Chad.
Whatever the case, Abigail will eventually believe this is more than just Gwen’s mind games. Days spoilers say Abigail will slap Gwen across the face, but Gwen will think it’s worth it. A mild sting on her cheek is nothing compared to the damage Gwen’s doing, so she’ll pat herself on the back.
Of course, Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will come home and realize he’s too late to make a confession. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chad will scramble to explain his side of the story, but Abigail will be an angry, emotional wreck.
DOOL fans can expect Chad to break down in tears as he pleads with Abigail. He’ll insist they can get past this again, but Abigail will feel like she’s heard this speech before. No matter how much Chad begs for another chance, it doesn’t seem like Abigail will be willing to give him one anytime soon.
As for Gwen, she’ll go for a lovely stroll around town and enjoy this glorious day. When Gwen bumps into Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow), she may admit she came clean to Abigail before Chad had the opportunity.
Gwen will be quite gleeful about Abigail’s suffering, so Kate will wonder what her deal is. She’ll try to get to the bottom of Gwen’s agenda, but Gwen will keep things vague.
Gwen won’t quite be ready to drop her final bomb – the one where she reveals why she’s torn apart Abigail’s life and destroyed her family. Gwen will think that’s for her to know and everyone else to find out.
Afterward, Kate will cross paths with Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and let him know she’s so sorry about his missing grandbabies. Abe will appreciate Kate’s sympathy and will hold out hope that Carver Grant and Julia “Jules” Grant will be returned to their parents soon.
As Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) talked about the woman she met with newborn twins, Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) quickly realized Bonnie must’ve had an encounter with the kidnapper. Now that Justin has called Eli Grant (Lamon Archey), he’ll explain a bit more and set up a meeting at the Salem PD.
Once Justin disconnects and updates Bonnie, she’ll think he should hold his horses! Bonnie will start flipping out over the pressure since the fate of Jules and Carver may lie in her hands. Nevertheless, Days spoilers say Justin will calm Bonnie down and insist she has to step up.
Justin may remind Bonnie that she’d want help if her own grandbaby was in danger. He’ll push Bonnie to focus on her good heart and do her best to pitch in. At the police station, Lani will finally let herself have some hope. After Bonnie sees how upset Lani is, it’ll strengthen her resolve to track the twins down.
Bonnie will promise to do whatever she can to find the woman who took Lani’s babies. Once Bonnie sits down with a sketch artist, she’ll think back on what the snatcher looked like.
Bonnie’s description will lead to a sketch that’s a great likeness for Dr. Amanda Raynor (Victoria Platt), so Lani and Valerie Grant (Vanessa Williams) will recognize her picture.
This will give Eli and Lani something to go on as they take another step in the investigation. As for Dr. Raynor, she was relieved when she opened the door and realized someone was there to pick up the twins. Dr. Raynor can’t wait to hand the babies off and be done with her part in all this.
A familiar face will be on pick-up duty – and it looks like Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) will be the one who takes Carver and Jules.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ivan is indeed set to appear soon, so it makes sense that he’ll retrieve the twin babies and take them back to Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano) – the woman who’s likely behind this whole kidnapping plot.
