Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, March 11, reveals that Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) grew increasingly concerned about Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and Evan Frears aka Christian Maddox’s (Brock Kelly) plan to kill him.
Ciara prayed for Ben’s safety and used the power of their connection to try to communicate with him.
As Ciara closed her eyes, she thought of Ben and tried to let him know that he was in danger. Ben could indeed feel Ciara’s warning as he held his chest, though Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) didn’t seem as certain.
However, Shawn didn’t want to waste time arguing and eventually rushed to Ben’s place with him.
Meanwhile on Thursday’s Days of Our Lives episode, Ciara decided to try breaking off a piece of a pipe in her glass box – something she admitted to herself she’d tried a million times before.
To Ciara’s surprise, it worked this time and gave her something to bang the glass partition with.
As Ciara slammed the cage repeatedly, hissing could be heard from the broken pipe. Ciara began to panic as gas filled the room, and she started to cough as she fell to the floor.
At Ben’s place, Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) found out Evan intended to murder Ben and take his head to Ciara on a silver platter. Evan felt like it’d be great to kill Ciara’s niece and pour salt in the wound, but Claire lied that Ciara hated her.
Claire said she’d previously tried to burn Ciara alive and that Ciara would throw a party if she died.
Evan didn’t buy it and didn’t think it mattered anyway. Claire knew too much, so Evan decided she’d have to suffer a grim fate. Shawn and Ben burst through the door in the nick of time, which led Evan to decide he’d kill Ciara’s brother, too.
Since Evan had Claire at gunpoint, he forced Shawn to hand over the gun and determined that he’d kill the lady first since he’d always thought of himself as a gentleman.
There was a showdown that led to a struggle over Evan’s gun – and Shawn was shot in the leg moments later.
Fortunately, Ben was able to turn Evan’s own gun against him, and Claire returned Shawn’s gun to him as well. Shawn begged Ben to wait for backup, but Ben couldn’t stand by and do nothing when Ciara was in danger.
Ben instructed Claire to put pressure on Shawn’s wound and call 911 before he forced Evan to take him back to Ciara’s location.
On Thursday’s Days episode, Shawn assured Claire he wasn’t in too much pain – and they eventually heard the paramedics pulling up in the ambulance. As for Ben, he held the gun on Evan and was led to the glass box from his dreams.
Ben cried out in shock once he arrived and saw that Ciara was dying, stuck in such a dire situation.
Over with Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk), she put a new plan in motion at Basic Black. In disguise as Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk), she pretended she wanted to be Chloe’s friend and apologized for how she treated her before.
Chloe was fooled and accepted the flowers “Susan” offered. “Susan” explained that she blamed herself for Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) shooting due to not having the premonition in time. “Susan” added that she was just taking it out on Chloe.
After Chloe suggested all was forgiven, “Susan” pulled her into a giant hug. Kristen imagined grabbing a nearby letter opener and stabbing Chloe in the back with it, but she quickly snapped out of the fantasy.
“Susan” then pushed Chloe to reveal her true feelings regarding Brady, Kristen and their relationship – since they’re “girlfriends” and all now.
Chloe was initially reluctant to badmouth the mother of Brady’s child and the woman he loved, but “Susan” kept pushing. In the end, Chloe admitted she thought Brady and Rachel Black (Rosalind and Josephine May) were better off without that murderer.
Chloe added that she was good with Brady once and thought they could be good together again.
Kristen kept contemplating that letter opener throughout the conversation – and she was livid after Brady called Chloe to set up a grateful dinner at the pub. Brady specified that it wasn’t a working dinner, which added to Kristen’s fury.
After Chloe left, Kristen fumed at Basic Black alone. She insisted Chloe was right about the murderer part and vowed to kill Chloe before she ever let her take Brady away.
Meanwhile, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) enjoyed some flirty banter with Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) before she shooed him away. Sarah didn’t want Xander to see the wedding dress Chloe promised to deliver.
Xander ended up at Horton house, where he managed to convince Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) to be his best man. Back with Sarah, she was without a maid of honor.
When officiant Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) came to see if everything was all set for the wedding, Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans) tagged along and learned about Sarah’s predicament.
Sarah was surprisingly excited about Bonnie stepping up as maid of honor – and Bonnie nearly tackled her with a big bear hug. After Bonnie served up some celebratory drinks, she mentioned Rex Brady (Kyle Lowder).
Sarah didn’t want to talk about her ex and admitted she hadn’t really been in touch with him, but she felt like that breakup had led her to Xander – so she couldn’t really complain.
Chloe later realized she’d forgotten Sarah’s wedding dress at Basic Black, so she offered to go back on the phone with Sarah. Sarah assured Chloe that she could pick it up herself – and when she did, she came face to face with Kristen sans her Susan disguise.
Sarah was understandably stunned by the discovery and blurted out Kristen’s name.
Chloe wound up sitting at a pub table with Brady, and she confessed that Susan was more insightful that she’d given her credit for. Susan got Chloe to face something she hadn’t been willing to face so far.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Chloe’s plan to come clean to Brady will hit some snags, so stay tuned for more DOOL drama.
