Days of Our Lives Spoilers: Thursday, May 6 Recap – Jan on Security Film, Valentine’s Day Evidence – Allie Misses Wild London Past

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Thursday, May 6, reveals that Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) confronted Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) about her desire to be Mrs. Jan Brady. Claire wondered if Jan would try to deny it, but Jan insisted friends don’t lie to each other and that she would indeed be Claire’s stepmother – though she thought that was such a ghastly word.

Jan suggested she would be Claire’s “bonus mama” instead, but Claire was adamant that they weren’t friends and that she wanted nothing to do with Jan. That left Jan appalled after everything she’d done for Claire, so Claire wondered what exactly Jan had done for her. Jan claimed she meant that she’d shown Claire kindness and had listened in her time of need.

Claire admitted Jan was nice to her after they first met, but she thought Jan’s only goal was getting together with Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer). “Give it up, get a life and stay the hell away from my family,” Claire warned in Thursday’s Days of Our Lives episode.

After Claire stormed out, Jan insisted she’d killed for Claire once and it was surprisingly easy. Jan felt confident she could do it again to get what she wanted.

At the townhouse, Belle Brady (Martha Madison) was convinced that Jan had woken up earlier than she’d led everybody to believe. Belle pointed out that when Dr. Clay Snyder (Michael Lowry) gave her updates on April 1, he mentioned that there had been changes in Jan’s brain activity and vital signs leading up to that day. Belle and Shawn decided to go get some answers at the hospital.

Meanwhile, Dr. Snyder ranted at Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) again for his inappropriate behavior with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). Dr. Snyder warned Tripp to keep his hands off the patients and pointed at Tripp’s chest. When Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) waltzed in, she suggested maybe Dr. Snyder should keep his paws off her son!

Tripp introduced Ava to his boss and smoothed things over before sitting down with his mom in the waiting area. Ava found out Tripp might have some chemistry with Allie, but he thought it would be too weird to go anywhere considering their history. Ava didn’t think it’d be weird and mentioned she was going on a date with the police commissioner. She felt like Tripp should stay open to the possibilities.

At the park, Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) was babysitting Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) for Allie, who thanked him following her job hunt. Roman asked for more time with Henry since his great-grandson had been asleep for most of their visit, so Allie agreed and dashed off.

Allie physically ran into Chanel, who turned around and had a moment of recognition. “Horton?” Chanel asked in disbelief. “Dupree?” an equally stunned Allie replied. Chanel said it was “the one and only, baby,” so they hugged and laughed before discussing how they both had family in Salem.

Allie and Chanel realized they were both searching for jobs and decided to do some day drinking like the good old days. Afterward, Tripp bumped into Roman, who relayed that he’d gotten a text from Allie and encouraged Tripp to join her at Julie’s Place.

At the restaurant on Thursday’s Days episode, Allie was stunned to learn Chanel was getting a divorce after a very brief marriage. She thought it was wild, even for Chanel! Allie eventually opened up about being a mom and showed Chanel a picture of Henry on her phone.

After Allie spilled the news of Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) murder and the assault that led to Henry’s conception, Chanel was so sorry. She was hopeful Allie would find someone who was the total opposite of that SOB. Allie admitted there was this one guy, but she felt it was complicated since he was Charlie’s brother and she had previously accused him of the assault.

Chanel agreed that did sound awfully complicated. Allie remembered how easy things were with Chanel back in London and reflected on all the fun memories they had. After Allie admitted she’d give anything to go back to that time and feel free again, she leaned in and kissed Chanel.

Tripp looked floored by the smooch as he stood in the doorway. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Tripp’s love life will become a bigger mess thanks to this shocking development, so DOOL fans will want to stay tuned!

Back at the hospital on Thursday’s Days of Our Lives episode, Shawn and Belle met with Dr. Snyder to find out if it was possible Jan had woken up earlier. Dr. Snyder said “absolutely not” and thought it was ludicrous to think Jan had slipped by all their staff members.

Shawn wanted to see the security footage, so Dr. Snyder hinted about Shawn needing a warrant. However, Belle pointed out it wouldn’t put Dr. Snyder in a good legal position if the news leaked to the press and it got out that he was uncooperative.

Dr. Snyder hooked Shawn and Belle up with the footage from February-April, so they sat with the laptop and started going through it. On Valentine’s Day, Jan could be seen as clear as day coming out of her room in the ICU. The time stamp and shot of Jan served as proof.

After Dr. Synder was informed, he argued the hospital should bear no responsibility in the actions of a homicidal maniac. Belle wanted to get the footage to the police, but Shawn felt like they only had proof that Jan was awake – not that she killed Charlie. When Shawn insisted they needed more evidence, Belle asked how they were going to get it.

Over with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), she filled John Black (Drake Hogestyn) in on Belle’s theory about Jan setting her up. As for Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker), she stopped by Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) office to pass along Duke the teddy bear and talk to him about Ava. Rafe could tell Nicole didn’t seem thrilled when he mentioned his date.

After Nicole admitted she was jealous, Rafe assumed Nicole meant she was jealous of Ava. Nicole clarified that she was jealous of their romantic evening together since she hadn’t seen Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) in forever. Rafe pointed out that Eric would be home soon, so Nicole said any day now.

Since they didn’t want Eric to get the wrong idea, Rafe joked about how maybe they should rethink Duke’s custody agreement. Nicole didn’t think that was necessary since they were just friends, but she eventually suggested Rafe should keep Duke. She assumed she wouldn’t be seeing as much of Rafe once Eric was back in town.

Rafe pointed out they could double date, but Nicole asked if he was kidding. Rafe agreed that was probably pushing it, but he didn’t want Nicole to be a stranger. They hugged goodbye awkwardly – and after Nicole was gone, Rafe had a flashback of a warm moment with Nicole and looked pensive.

Nicole wound up running into Ava in the town square, so Ava asked for some outfit help ahead of her date. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ava and Rafe’s night together will bring some surprises, so stick with DOOL! CDL will have lots of other great Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates and news, so pop back in soon.
