Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, September 2, teases that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will decide to take a Phoenix trip to see Will Horton (Chandler Massey) and Sonny Kiriakis (Zachary Atticus Tinker). Meanwhile, Shane Donovan (Charles Shaughnessy) will need John Black’s (Drake Hogestyn) help, so he’ll make a surprising phone call and deliver a new ISA assignment.
Chad and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) didn’t get along anyway, but their feud got even worse thanks to how things went down at the DiMera board meeting.
Since Jake was ousted as CEO, he feels betrayed by his brothers – and Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) is just as mad about how Jake was treated.
When Chad bumps into Jake and Gabi on Thursday’s DOOL episode, Days spoilers say it won’t take long for a fight to break out.
Gabi usually knows how to hit people where it hurts, so she might goad Chad about Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) extended absence and the obvious struggles in his marriage.
Of course, Gabi and Jake will happily flaunt their own solid romance in Chad’s face if given the opportunity! There might also be some business talk that leaves Chad concerned about some weak spots at DiMera Enterprises.
Whatever the case, Jake and Gabi will manage to get inside Chad’s head and under his skin. Chad will need some time away from Salem as well as some guidance from old pals.
Look for Chad to hop on the DiMera jet and head off to Phoenix, where Will and Sonny will welcome him for a visit on Peacock’s upcoming Days of Our Lives: Beyond Salem miniseries.
Since that miniseries will air during the week of September 6-10, Days is using Thursday’s inserted episode to set up all the action. In addition to explaining Chad’s Phoenix trip, there’ll be an explanation behind Paulina Price’s (Jackee Harry) visit to Miami.
It looks like Paulina may get a phone call that gives her a reason to get out of town.
Paulina will be at breakfast with Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers), Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) when she gets some important updates.
Once Paulina invites everyone at the table to take the trip with her, they’ll turn it into a sunny getaway and plan to have a blast together.
However, danger’s brewing for Paulina, Abe, Eli and Lani on this trip – and the same goes for John, though he’ll be headed to a different destination.
Shane will send John to Zurich to hunt for the stolen Alamainian Peacock gems, which are now in the possession of someone with sinister intentions.
Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) will also make the journey, but the gems will actually be scattered in various locations.
That means every trip setup will lead to some gem drama one way or another, including Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) and Tony DiMera’s (Thaao Penghlis) own trip to Zurich – where Carrie Brady-Reed (Christie Clark) lives with Austin Reed (Austin Peck).
The main goal of Tony and Anna’s flight out of the country will be to fix Carrie’s marriage before it’s too late.
Carrie and Austin’s family is on the verge of destruction, so Anna will turn to Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) and insist they have to assist their daughter.
Although Roman may refuse to meddle, Tony almost always does whatever his true love asks of him.
Since Anna will want to make the effort to help, Tony should be all in.
DOOL fans won’t want to miss all the excitement as the show kicks off some big adventures!
