Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, September 9, reveals that Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) will attack Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) – and Gabi Hernandez DiMera’s (Camila Banus) takeover plot will be in jeopardy. Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will also react to a tempting offer, so here’s what the show has in store.
First, Brady will complain about Philip’s jealous behavior and push Chloe to move in with him instead. Chloe may argue that’d be a quick way to get Philip riled up all over again! It’s clear that Chloe still feels something for Brady, so that alone could make it tempting to go along with Brady’s proposal.
However, it’d be completely inappropriate for Chloe to live with her ex-husband – not to mention unnecessary since there’s plenty of room there at the Kiriakis mansion. Even if Chloe ends up wanting some space from Philip, it’s just not a good idea to live with Brady.
Even so, Chloe and Brady will wind up strengthening their connection. They should move past the tension in Pennsylvania and get their bond back on track.
Across town, Philip will urge Gabi to admit she’s been spying on him through a keylogger. He’ll reveal that his IT guy came through with the news that his computer was being monitored.
Gabi may act innocent and wonder why Philip would accuse her of installing the software. Philip could easily point out that Gabi’s the only other person who’s been on his laptop, but Gabi may argue that anyone could’ve come in while it was unattended.
Gabi may pretend she’s hurt that Philip would even hurl these accusations since they’re supposed to be friends.
Although Gabi will send Philip on his way and continue scheming with Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash), Philip’s discovery does put their plan at risk.
Since Philip isn’t going to let go of his suspicions, Jake and Gabi will need to work fast. Otherwise, Philip could turn the tables – and he’ll indeed try to once he teams up with Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) down the road.
Speaking of Ava, she’ll find Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) drinking alone at Julie’s Place.
Ava will think Nicole looks like she could use some company, so they’ll have a heartfelt talk and become friends again. Nicole may apologize for overstepping, but Ava may also apologize for overreacting and not trusting Rafe Hernandez’s (Galen Gering) loyalty.
Although Rafe confessed to having thoughts he probably shouldn’t have about a friend when it came to Nicole, he assured Ava that he wasn’t unfaithful. Rafe calmed Ava down and convinced her that she was the woman he wanted to be with.
Ava should offer updates on all that – including the part about Rafe’s more-than-friendly feelings for Nicole.
Of course, Nicole will just be glad she didn’t blow up Rafe and Ava’s relationship. She’ll still be determined to keep her distance and stay out of the way, but that’s obviously not what Rafe wants.
Days spoilers say Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will serve as Rafe’s confidant on Thursday’s DOOL episode. Eli has helped Rafe out with his messy love life before and will gladly do it again.
After Eli listens and offers some much-needed guidance, Rafe will head to Julie’s Place to meet up with Ava. That’ll bring an uncomfortable encounter as Rafe spots Ava and Nicole together, but at least the three of them can be in the same room without a fight breaking out.
Unfortunately, the same can’t be said for Brady, Philip and Chloe!
Days spoilers state that Philip will walk in on a Chloe and Brady moment that’s too close for comfort. Philip may also hear about Brady’s move-in offer and let his anger rise even more.
On Thursday’s DOOL episode, Philip will go into attack mode as he snatches a couple handfuls of Brady’s jacket. He’ll deliver some vicious threats, but Chloe will push Philip to back off.
Philip and Chloe’s trust issues will remain a problem – and so will Brady’s knack for pushing Philip’s buttons.
At Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) apartment, she’ll assure Abe Carver (James Reynolds) that he’s got the wrong idea. Abe overheard Paulina talking about being the twins’ grandma, but she’ll sell a different story on Thursday’s Days episode.
Paulina will act like she’d be the twins’ grandma by marriage if she got hitched to Abe, so he’ll wonder if she’s truly got a wedding on her mind.
It’s arguably way too soon for that, but this is a better option than telling Abe the truth and leading him to the realization that Lani isn’t his bio daughter.
That shocker will still become public knowledge sooner or later, but Paulina will avoid disaster for the time being. Days of Our Lives spoilers say some relationship shakeups and surprises are brewing on the NBC soap.
