Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers tease that Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) will get the news he’s been waiting for. Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will eventually find Tripp and deliver updates on his half-brother, Charlie Dale (Mike Manning).
As you can imagine, Tripp will face a flood of emotions. He’ll feel relieved and vindicated, but he’ll also be upset for Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) and furious over the confusion. Tripp will seethe over his half-brother’s actions and what Charlie allowed to transpire in the aftermath of Allie’s assault.
DOOL fans know Charlie came along and made a mess of Tripp’s good intentions in London. Tripp just wanted to make sure drunk Allie made it home safe and sound, but Charlie assaulted her once Tripp left. The fact that Charlie was following him will leave Tripp livid, especially considering what Allie had to go through.
Of course, Charlie also tried to play the hero early on and act like he was Claire Brady’s (Isabel Durant) protector. Remember how Charlie stood in front of Claire like Tripp was the bad guy in this scenario? Tripp will fume over Charlie hiding their half-brother status and the assault secret all this time.
Unfortunately, Days spoilers say this will still be a case where it’s Charlie’s word against Tripp’s. There’s no reason for Charlie to admit anything to the cops – and he can always argue that Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) lying about the confession he made to her.
There’ll be an assumption from most Salemites that Charlie’s guilty of Allie’s assault, but that won’t be good enough for Tripp. Days spoilers say Tripp will want proof of Charlie’s guilt. There’s a chance Charlie will even be able to wiggle out of Ava kidnapping charges somehow, so Tripp will take action.
Since Tripp will want his rotten half-brother to go down, he’ll sneak in Charlie’s apartment to rummage around for evidence. What will Tripp find once he’s inside? Charlie might’ve kept the note Tripp wrote to Allie – the one with his name and phone number on it.
That missing note was mentioned a great deal, so it could come back into play here. If Tripp finds it, Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest that would prove Charlie was in Allie’s apartment that night. It doesn’t seem like anything that’d hold up in court under the circumstances, but Tripp might hope he can force Charlie to confess with it.
Tripp might also find evidence of the prescription Charlie forged for Ava’s pills. If Charlie tries to act like Ava’s hallucinating on her own, Tripp may be able to offer proof that Charlie’s to blame. Whatever the case, Tripp will break in Charlie’s place and make some major discoveries!
