Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, August 24, tease that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will pump the brakes with Tripp Johnson (Lucas Adams) while Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) enjoys a risky reunion – at least it’s risky considering the secret she’s hiding! Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) and Gwen Rizczech’s (Emily O’Brien) passion will also erupt, so let’s talk about what’s coming up on DOOL.
For starters, Paulina and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will take a huge step forward together. Abe understands that Paulina’s sorry for all the Price Town drama – and now there’s no need to hold back on a reunion.
Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) has forgiven Paulina, so Abe will admit he’s willing to give things another shot with Paulina romantically. That news will leave Paulina over the moon, so there’ll be some sweet scenes as Abe officially takes her back.
Next on Tuesday’s Days episode, Olivia Price (Marla Gibbs) will enjoy a visit with her great-grandbabies. She’ll meet Carver Grant and Jules Grant, so Lani should appreciate all the warm family moments.
Of course, Olivia will stay tight-lipped about the secret Paulina’s keeping. Paulina is Lani’s biological mother, but Olivia will hope that shocker remains buried and never destroys Lani’s world.
The secret will indeed come to light down the road, but it seems Lani won’t suspect a thing for now.
In Xander’s suite, he’ll fill Gwen in on his deal with EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel). Gwen will hope EJ’s able to keep Xander out of jail as promised and will thank Xander for protecting her.
It won’t be long until things heat up between them, so look for Xander and Gwen to land in bed.
As for Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) and Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman), their budding romance will take a sizzling turn, too.
Chanel just kissed Johnny, but the steaminess is about to escalate. That could mean Johnny and Chanel will hit the sheets somewhere soon, but we’ll see just how far they go.
Meanwhile, Allie will struggle in the aftermath of Tripp’s love declaration. Although Allie will appreciate hearing how Tripp feels, she’ll be overwhelmed and won’t be able to say it back right away.
This will all be happening a bit too soon for Allie, so there’ll be some awkwardness in Tuesday’s Days episode.
Tripp will hold out hope that he hasn’t wrecked this relationship, but he can’t do anything to fix Allie’s lingering feelings for Chanel – which are certainly part of the problem here!
