Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, January 19, tease that Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will face another tough blow thanks to Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). It looks like Gwen will alert Li Shin (Remington Hoffman) to the fact that Chad slept with an employee, so that’ll cause some shakeups at DiMera Enterprises.
Chad will see some bad news on his tablet before Li appears to confirm a huge announcement. After Li rips into Chad for hitting the sheets with Gwen, he’ll refuse to listen to Chad’s excuses.
Li won’t accept Chad’s explanation about getting drunk and duped that night. Chad’s behavior doesn’t set a good example for the company or prove he’s smart enough to be Dimera Enterprises’ CEO.
However, Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) is well-liked by Li and is waiting in the wings to take Chad’s place. Will Jake score himself the CEO seat after Chad gets fired?
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Jake will get some updates that leave him pleased – and he’ll indeed end up sitting in the big chair by the end of the episode. It certainly looks like Jake will take over as CEO, even if it’s on a trial basis.
Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) will also show up on Tuesday and throw Jake for a loop in a different way. Days spoilers say Gabi will hint about some unfinished business they have between them.
Since Gabi’s back in town to stay, she might end up becoming co-CEO or COO. Gabi could at least take on some sort of role at DiMera – one that forces her to work closely with Jake!
Regardless, Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gabi’s main goal will be securing a future with Jake. She won’t care about Jake’s relationship with Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow) or anything else that might pose an obstacle.
Speaking of obstacles, lack of trust will remain a massive hurdle for Chad and Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller). Abigail will decide she just can’t deal with Chad’s betrayal and the deception that followed. After Abigail resolves to leave Chad, she’ll pack her suitcase and tell Chad her devastating choice.
Although Chad will protest and assure Abigail of his love, Abigail just won’t think love’s enough to put their marriage back together again. While Abigail breaks Chad’s heart, Maggie Kiriakis (Suzanne Rogers) will lash out at Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans).
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Maggie will make it clear that she doesn’t approve of Bonnie and Justin Kiriakis’ (Wally Kurth) romance.
Bonnie may defend Justin’s interest in her, but Maggie will think Justin’s making a major mistake – and she’ll be sure to tell him so later! In the meantime, DOOL spoilers say Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will get grilled at the Salem PD.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) just revealed that he was taking Xander in for questioning in a kidnapping, so Xander’s obviously wondering what’s going on.
Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will head to the police station with Xander, but they’ll have to separate once Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) moves forward with the interrogation.
Since Xander was previously connected to Dr. Amanda Raynor (Victoria Platt) as part of the baby switch, it’ll at least make him a person of interest in the Carver twins’ kidnapping case.
Days spoilers say Xander will promise he had nothing to do with the snatching of Eli and Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) babies. Eli will ultimately believe Xander, but he’ll want his help in tracking Dr. Raynor down. Xander will assist with a secret trap that’ll be set next week, so don’t miss what’s in store.
