Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers recap for Tuesday, May 4, reveals that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) pushed Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) to keep her end of the bargain or else EJ DiMera (Dan Feuerriegel) would find out about Sami cheating with Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo).
Sami assured Kristen that she had good news and revealed that Chloe was waiting on Lucas hand and foot.
That confused Kristen, who wondered what Sami wasn’t telling her. Sami finally admitted that Lucas was faking a brain tumor, so Kristen asked if that was supposed to make Chloe rip Lucas’ clothes off and ravish him.
Kristen pointed out that people with brain tumors get sicker, so she was concerned about the plot blowing up in Lucas and Sami’s faces.
However, Sami insisted that Lucas was keeping Chloe away from Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and defended their progress so far. Kristen still felt like Sami had send a puppy dog to do a man’s job!
Meanwhile, Chloe told Lucas that Dr. Dun was hanging around Salem a bit longer and that she’d be taking the day off to be there for him at his appointment in the morning. Lucas tried to talk Chloe out of it, but she dashed off to work out her schedule at Titan.
Afterward, Lucas warned Sami that she’d have to figure things out when it came to the rest of their scheme since she was the one who didn’t want the secret to spill. Sami pretended Lucas was telling her a brilliant idea over the phone and kept trying to reassure Kristen.
At Titan on Tuesday’s Days of Our Lives episode, Brady could tell that Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) was a million miles away. Nicole was thinking about Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun), but she did her best to cover with Brady.
Chloe arrived soon after and scheduled another day off due to her friend’s bad news, so Brady granted Chloe’s request and accepted a birthday gift for Rachel Black (Josephine and Rosalind May).
Once Brady took off, Nicole opened up to Chloe about Rafe and Ava’s kiss. She argued that Ava and Rafe weren’t right for each other, but she admitted Ava accused her of wanting Rafe for herself.
Chloe asked Nicole if Ava was right, but Nicole insisted she was married and added that Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) was coming home soon. Nicole was amazed that Chloe had the nerve to ask that, but Chloe pointed out that Nicole didn’t actually answer the question.
At Rafe’s place on Tuesday’s Days episode, he talked to Ava about the kiss they shared recently. Ava came clean about Nicole having some issues with it and thinking that Nicole was taking advantage of Rafe’s vulnerability.
Rafe thought if anyone was taking advantage of anyone, it was him taking advantage of Ava. He didn’t get why she would even care, but Ava insisted that Nicole didn’t think they were right for each other.
Ava suggested that Nicole thought Rafe should be with someone else, so Rafe wondered if Nicole meant anyone in particular. Ava flashed back to arguing that Nicole wanted Rafe for herself, but she didn’t share that part with Rafe.
In the end, Rafe assured Ava that what they do is none of Nicole’s business and nearly kissed her again before they were interrupted by a notification on his phone. Rafe was called to the station, but he suggested having dinner together tomorrow.
When Ava wondered if Rafe was asking her out on a date, Rafe confirmed that he was. Ava said she’d like that and exchanged a flirty look with Rafe as he left.
At the hospital on Tuesday’s Days of Our Lives episode, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) assured Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) was lying. She insisted she didn’t push Gwen down the stairs, but Gwen was adamant that Abigail was a baby murderer.
Abigail kept pushing Chad to believe her, but Chad said they’d talk about it later and encouraged his wife to leave. Once Chad and Gwen were alone, she assumed Chad didn’t buy her side of the story.
Chad knew that Gwen was upset and made it clear that he would’ve been a good father to their little girl if she had survived.
Chad didn’t think he was the right person to be there for Gwen right now, but he didn’t want her to be alone. Gwen said they both knew there was no one to call.
Gwen suggested it was probably her own fault she was alone in this world, but she was hoping this baby could’ve been her second chance to be a better person.
Chad thought Gwen would’ve been a good mother, but Gwen argued that they’ll never know now – thanks to Abigail. Back with Abigail, she found Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) and offered updates on the death of Gwen’s baby.
Abigail pointed out that she wasn’t the kind of person who’d push a woman down the stairs to cause the death of her unborn child.
Abigail noted that Jack believed Gwen when she said Laura Horton’s (Jaime Lyn Bauer) death was an accident – and Jack had known Gwen all of five minutes! Since Jack had known Abigail her whole life, she needed to hear her dad say he believed her now.
However, Jack simply glared at a stunned Abigail and insisted he needed to go see Gwen.
Once Jack was in Gwen’s room, he held Gwen as she cried. As for Chad, he reconvened with Abigail and conceded that he didn’t think she actually pushed Abigail. That said, Chad wondered why Abigail was fighting with a pregnant woman at the top of a staircase.
“Are you saying that it’s my fault?” an outraged Abigail asked. Chad walked away – clearly blaming Abigail for the death of Gwen’s baby. Days of Our Lies spoilers say Abigail and Chad’s marriage problems are about to get even worse, so don’t miss what’s next.
At the townhouse on Tuesday’s DOOL episode, Brady was surprised to find Sami hanging out with “Susan Banks” aka Kristen (Stacy Haiduk). When “Susan” found out about the birthday gift Chloe bought for Rachel, she wasn’t happy about it.
Brady argued that he still worked with Chloe and defended the present, but “Susan” still felt like Chloe was trying to bribe Brady and grow closer to him.
Brady told Sami to put “Susan” back in her cage and left the room, so that gave Kristen a chance to warn Sami on Tuesday’s Days episode.
Kristen wanted proof that Lucas was really keeping Chloe away from Brady. “Or else I’ll call Rome and your marriage will blow up in her face,” Kristen insisted.
