Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, October 5, teases that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will struggle to hide his jealous fury while Johnny DiMera (Carson Boatman) gets some shocking movie news. Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will also receive an engagement ring that blows her away, so let’s talk about what’s in store.
Rafe and Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) were planning on having a quiet date night at Julie’s Place – just the two of them.
They certainly weren’t counting on running into Nicole Walker (Arianne Zucker) and EJ DiMera (Dan Feurriegel) at the very same restaurant, but it’s a small world and Salem is even smaller!
Rafe especially wasn’t pleased when EJ admitted this dinner was about pleasure, not business.
The idea of Nicole being on a date with EJ will make Rafe’s blood boil. Rafe won’t get why Nicole would want to go down such a disastrous road with EJ again, but it’s really none of his concern.
You can bet EJ will remind Rafe of that if he gets too territorial on Tuesday’s DOOL episode.
The same goes for Ava, who’ll probably battle some anger of her own once she sees the jealousy in Rafe’s eyes. If Rafe can’t stop looking in Nicole’s direction and complaining about EJ, that’ll make things even worse.
As for EJ, he’ll try to get Nicole’s mind back on him and hope they can enjoy the rest of their evening together.
Meanwhile, Abe Carver (James Reynolds) and Chanel Dupree (Raven Bowens) will worry their key lime pie mission was all for naught. Paulina just claimed to hate the stuff, so was Chanel wrong about key lime being her mom’s favorite?
Either Chanel doesn’t have a firm grip on what Paulina likes anymore or perhaps Paulina is just teasing Abe and her daughter.
Whatever the case, the pecan pie Olivia Price (Marla Adams) suggested is on standby if Abe needs to go back to the original pie plan.
Chanel will eventually make herself scarce so that Abe can pop the question.
Days spoilers say Abe will get down on one knee and make a sweet speech about his love. He won’t want to wait a second long to propose and start the next chapter of his life with Paulina.
Despite Paulina’s worries over the huge secrets she’s keeping, she’ll decide she’s all in on a future with Abe.
Days spoilers state that Paulina will accept Abe’s offer of marriage and proudly wear his gorgeous ring pick on her finger.
Back with Chanel, she’ll pay Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) a visit, but Lani won’t exactly be prepared for company.
Lani and Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) will be sharing some hot moments on the couch when Chanel marches right through the door.
As usual, Chanel will catch Eli in a state of undress, but Lani will join the party this time around.
There’ll be some awkwardness as Chanel realizes what she’s walked in on!
Across town, Johnny will have an important discussion with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) that’ll most likely relate to his film.
Chad will want to reach an agreement with Johnny, so might invest in the movie as long as he gets a role in it.
Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will soon decide she’s on board with playing Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) – and Chad will portray John Black (Drake Hogestyn) once rehearsals start down the road.
That could mean Chad will negotiate to be cast opposite Abigail, but we’ll have to see how it goes!
After Chad strikes this deal and EJ gets updates, another DOOL brother battle could be brewing.
