Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers for Tuesday, September 7, tease that Calista Lockhart (Cady Huffman) will face a fatal gunshot wound while Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) goes after Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans). Roman Brady (Josh Taylor) will also find a confused Doug Williams (Bill Hayes), so let’s talk about what DOOL viewers can expect.
At the Kiriakis mansion, Bonnie will try to reason with Calista, who just pulled the murder weapon on her former sister-in-law.
Bonnie wanted Calista to hand over the gun, but Calista insisted Bonnie was getting the bullet instead!
Of course, Bonnie would much rather get married than let Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) plan her funeral, so she’ll urge Calista to put the gun down.
When Calista refuses, Bonnie will dive for it and struggle to gain the upper hand.
While Calista’s holding a pillow between them, a gunshot will ring out and send feathers flying into the air.
It looks like Calista will take the bullet meant for Bonnie and die right in front of her. This will leave Bonnie with yet another sticky situation as she tries to make it to her wedding on time.
As Bonnie deals with some dead body drama, Days spoilers say Xander will fume over the puzzle he just solved.
It didn’t take Xander long to realize Bonnie must’ve swiped his $1 million when she made that odd visit to invite him to the nuptials.
Xander will resolve to get his money back from Bonnie ASAP, but he’ll leave Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) with some advice before he goes.
Since Gwen hasn’t revealed why Dr. Clay Snyder (Michael Lowry) was blackmailing her yet, Xander will push her to lie and minimize the damage.
Xander will think Gwen’s relationship with Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) can be salvaged if she offers an alternative explanation – one that’s not as bad as letting Jack think she miscarried because of her fight with Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) and the staircase tumble that followed.
While Gwen mulls over Xander’s guidance, Jack and Julie Williams (Susan Seaforth Hayes) will remain on the hunt for Doug. They’ll kick their search efforts up a notch, but it’ll be Roman who finds Doug at the Brady Pub.
Doug will sit at the bar and exhibit some rather strange behavior. He’ll seem disoriented and will likely be missing some time when it comes to his memory.
Days spoilers say Roman will grow seriously worried about Doug’s mental decline since the signs of it will be so obvious.
Roman will eventually alert Julie to Doug’s whereabouts along with his concerns, but Julie will hold out hope that something other than dementia is going on.
Julie will be in denial about Doug’s apparent issues, some medical tests should make things clear one way or another down the road.
