Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Friday, April 16, teases that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will head to the pub with Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) in his stroller.
That’s where Allie will bump into Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams), who always appreciates a chance to spend a little time with his nephew.
However, Tripp will bond with Henry’s mom again as well. Allie will drop something on the floor and stoop down to get it at the same time as Tripp. As they lock eyes and touch hands, it’ll be obvious something more than friendship is happening between them.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Tripp and Allie will settle on a fresh start this Friday. Allie already knows Tripp has forgiven her, so this may be about the murder investigation and just putting that whole Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) nightmare behind them.
Allie has been cleared along with Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) – and Tripp is off the hook along with his own mom, Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun). Now Allie and Tripp will choose to focus on a new chapter – though it doesn’t look like either one will be brave enough to make the first move romantically just yet.
Meanwhile, John Black (Drake Hogestyn) just won’t be able to rest until he remembers his missing memories. DOOL fans know John blacked out the night Charlie was killed, but he recalls hearing a gunshot.
John wants to know more, so he’ll push Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall) to hypnotize him and try to bring those buried memories to the surface.
Marlena may remind John there are no guarantees with hypnosis, but she’ll agree to do it since it might offer John some peace of mind. Unfortunately, this hypnosis session could actually bring more concerns instead.
Will John remember something that makes him believe Belle Brady (Martha Madison) might be the killer?
Belle will indeed land on the hot seat thanks to the red button that wound up in the evidence bag. That button matches the one missing from Belle’s coat, so that’ll raise some suspicions.
Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) interacted with Belle back when she was defending Sami in this murder case. He may find it hard to believe that was all an act since Belle didn’t offer any hint of guilt at all.
Nevertheless, Rafe vowed to look at the proof instead of relying on secretive witnesses. He’ll keep that in mind since Belle’s coat button was found in Charlie’s apartment.
DA Melinda Trask (Tina Huang) will want this case wrapped up as soon as possible. She may feel like this whole investigation has been an embarrassment since it’s zigged and zagged in so many different directions.
Rafe will be stressed to the max since DA Trask will practically force him to make an arrest. Since the evidence will point to Belle, she’ll be the one Rafe tracks down and is ultimately forced to slap the cuffs on.
Belle may not actually be arrested until next week, April 19-23, rolls around, but she’ll indeed land in lockup soon.
Of course, things aren’t as they seem, which is often the case in DOOL murder mysteries. Belle wasn’t even in Charlie’s apartment the night he was killed – and that’s something she’ll soon assure Rafe. The button was obviously planted, but who did the planting?
It’d have to be someone with a motive to frame Belle – someone who hated Belle’s guts and wanted her to go down for a crime she didn’t commit.
Belle will consider Sami as an option, but it’s Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) who makes perfect sense as both the person who framed Belle and the one who killed Charlie.
Days spoilers say Jan will try to make amends with Claire on Friday, but Claire will lash out over all the horror Jan caused.
Naturally, Jan will try to play up what she previously viewed as a friendship between them. She’ll want her bestie back and will no doubt rage over all the pain Charlie caused for Claire.
If Jan is indeed the murderer, her Charlie outburst might set up the killer big reveal. That big reveal is set to happen on Monday, April 19, but Friday’s episode should put the final puzzle pieces in place for it.
