Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Friday, August 13, teases that Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) will find Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) and Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) in bed together. Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) painful past will also be explained – and Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will deliver some bad news to Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford).
At Paulina Price’s (Jackée Harry) apartment, Theo will suddenly have hope. He’ll think he can track Ciara down and save her from Ben based on the trip Paulina offers. Theo and Paulina will offer updates to Shawn, who’ll be armed and ready to make an arrest.
Although Shawn likes Ben and knows how much he adores Ciara, the law is the law. Shawn will be prepared to take Ben into custody for kidnapping Ciara, but there’ll be no need for that due to Ciara’s memory flood.
Ciara just recalled Ben proposing to her through a fortune cookie, but that’s only the beginning.
Ben will be over the moon when Ciara announces that she remembers it all – every wonderful moment of the love story that brought them here.
Ciara will be grateful that Ben didn’t give up on her. She’ll be eager to hop in bed with Ben, so they’ll be canoodling when Theo and Shawn rush inside.
Shawn will have his gun drawn, but Ciara will urge her brother to cool it. Naturally, Ciara will also have to explain everything to poor Theo, who’ll be crushed over the sight of Ben and Ciara looking like a couple again.
It won’t take Theo long to figure out that Ciara has her memories back and now wants Ben back.
Thankfully, Ciara and Ben will be clothed when Theo spots them. This would’ve been far worse if they’d already stripped down for lovemaking!
However, a deeply disappointed Theo won’t get the future with Ciara he was counting on. Ciara’s heart lies with Ben, so she’ll have to let Theo down as gently as she can.
Next, Lani will reflect on some difficult examples of getting burned by Paulina. DOOL fans know Paulina visited Lani from time to time when she was younger, but she often got bored and disappeared all over again – at least that’s how Lani saw it.
Paulina couldn’t be counted on then, so Lani won’t think she can be counted on now.
There’s just no trust between Lani and Paulina, but Abe Carver (Reynolds) will listen to Lani’s explanation and push her to give her aunt another chance.
Unfortunately, Days spoilers indicate that Paulina isn’t really Lani’s aunt at all! It turns out Paulina is Lani’s bio mom, so that stunning twist will come into play in the weeks ahead.
For now, Abe will feel like all the secrets are finally out in the open. He’ll hope that Lani can find it in her heart to forgive Paulina for the Price Town mess and repair their fractured bond.
Other Days spoilers say Steve will pass along the results of a little investigation. He’ll leave Jack troubled based on what he reveals about Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) and Dr. Clay Snyder’s (Michael Lowry) drug link, so it won’t be long until Jack demands answers.
Gwen will find herself facing an intense grilling session, but Days spoilers state that Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will intervene.
Xander has come to care about Gwen – and he certainly cares about Jack. It’d blow up Jack and Gwen’s relationship if he knew the truth behind the blackmail situation.
Gwen’s lying about the timing of her miscarriage, so that’s how Dr. Snyder was able to force her to make drug deliveries. Xander will cover for Gwen by acting like he was the person in cahoots with Dr. Snyder and doing his dirty work.
Of course, Xander will only be delaying the inevitable since almost all juicy soap secrets have to come out eventually!
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen will be grateful for Xander’s selfless gesture, but he’ll land in more trouble as a result.
