Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Friday, January 8, teases that Kristen DiMera (Stacy Haiduk) will long for her family. At Statesville, Kristen will look at photos of Rachel Black (Josephine and Rosalind May) and wish she was free to raise her daughter with Brady Black (Eric Martsolf).
Life’s hard behind bars, but Kristen will cling to the hope of reuniting with Brady and Rachel on the outside someday.
Sadly, Kristen’s about to face a bombshell that hurts to the core. While on the prison computer, Kristen will discover a write-up about the New Year’s Eve party. You can bet Kristen’s jaw will drop over the giant picture of Brady kissing Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin).
Once Brady arrives to visit Kristen, she’ll wonder what he thinks he’s doing! Kristen was under the impression that they were still a couple though they’ve been forced apart. She’ll be outraged over Brady reconnecting with his former flame for a hot night.
DOOL fans know that’s not how it went down, so Brady will do his best to explain. He considers Chloe to be a great pal and didn’t want her to spend New Year’s Eve alone.
Brady will suggest the pic misconstrues what the kiss actually was. He’ll assure Kristen it was just a little peck to celebrate ringing in the new year, but Brady will have a hard time buying Brady’s story.
Other Days spoilers say Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) will gaze at a poster featuring Ava Vitali’s (Tamara Braun) face. Since Philip will still think Ava’s missing, he might worry the mob will hold him responsible. Regardless, the Vitali family isn’t going to forget about the money Philip owes them.
Chloe will think this is dangerous business – far too dangerous for Philip to tackle on his own. She’ll insist she wants to help Philip, but he’ll reject that offer. Philip already warned Chloe he wouldn’t drag her into the mob mayhem, so he’ll reiterate that and push her to back off.
Nevertheless, Chloe can be awfully persistent. A little later, Days spoilers say Chloe will confide Philip’s money laundering predicament to Brady. Philip and Brady don’t always get along, so Philip should have some concerns about the secret spillage.
However, Brady’s loyalty to Chloe should win out. Since Chloe will want a favor for Philip’s sake, it’s a favor she’ll get! In the meantime, Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) will be hard at work in a suite at the Salem Inn.
Thanks to Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey), Xander will find the leverage he’s looking for in Philip’s files and get ready to nail him.
As for Bonnie Lockhart (Judi Evans), she’ll be a busy gal on Friday’s DOOL episode. Bonnie will see Philip looking at Ava’s poster in the town square.
Word travels fast in Salem, so Bonnie might be in the loop on Ava being rushed to the hospital by then. Maybe it’ll be Bonnie who informs Philip that Ava’s been located.
While Ava continues to receive treatment, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) will fear the worst. Since their babies won’t be in their hospital bassinets, Lani and Eli will be filled with dread.
Carver Grant and Julia “Jules” Grant were snatched from the nursery, so Eli and Lani will realize they’ll have to start a double baby hunt ASAP.
Lani will be especially emotional over their missing twins, but Eli will promise to track Jules and Carver down. There’s just no other option since they already love those babies so much!
Valerie Grant (Vanessa Williams) and Abe Carver (James Reynolds) will join the search for the twins soon, but it’s Bonnie who’ll end up in the best position to help.
In the park, Bonnie will have an encounter with a woman that Days viewers may remember. Dr. Amanda Raynor (Victoria Platt) played a crucial role in the baby switcheroo last year.
Xander and Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) relied on Dr. Raynor’s assistance to pull off the Rachel and Mackenzie “Mickey” Horton swap.
Now Dr. Raynor has kidnapped Lani and Eli’s twins, so she’ll be in over her head once again! Days of Our Lives spoilers say Bonnie won’t suspect a thing – at least not at first. She’ll think the babies are adorable and will even pull them out of their carriage for cuddles.
If Bonnie asks what the twins’ names are, Dr. Raynor may come up with some phony ones or just insist she’d better get a move on. Dr. Raynor will exit this conversation as quick as she can, but Bonnie won’t make it easy.
Days of Our Lives spoilers state that Bonnie will think back on this scene during the week of January 11-15. Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth) will eventually realize Bonnie had an encounter with the kidnapper – though we should note that Dr. Raynor isn’t the only one involved.
There’s a secret boss running the show, so we’ll give you updates as other news emerges.
