Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Friday, May 21, teases that Jan Spears (Heather Lindell) will go wild after a hotel bust while Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) winds up rejected and snatched. Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will also be forced into a new deal, so here’s the scoop on Friday’s shockers.
At the hospital, Gwen will realize she’s in big trouble. Although Gwen admitted to lying about Abigail DiMera’s (Marci Miller) shove, she’s still acting like the miscarriage happened when she fell down the stairs.
Gwen actually lost the baby beforehand and warned Dr. Snyder not to spill that information, but now Dr. Snyder’s not so willing to keep quiet.
Gwen is no doubt hesitant to confess yet another lie – especially one that shows she was being colder and more calculating than she let on.
Since Gwen will want to keep Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) in the dark on the rest of her deception, she’ll be forced to work something out in exchange for Dr. Snyder’s silence.
Meanwhile, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will refuse to budge on her decision to leave for Boston. Abigail needs some time to figure out who she is again since she’s lost so much of herself due to Gwen’s hold on her.
Days spoilers say Abigail will hope to clear her head and reconnect with Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain), so Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) will have to let her go for now.
Abigail will come home sooner or later, but a stint away from Salem should help her heal from some of the mental trauma she’s endured at Gwen’s hands. DOOL fans can expect a tearful goodbye between Abigail and Chad in Thursday’s powerful show.
This is the last episode Marci Miller filmed before her maternity leave began, so there’s a good reason for her character’s departure!
As for Jan, she’ll feel like her dreams are coming true when Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) suggests they should get a room! Shawn will entice Jan with a hotel suite invitation and leave her on cloud nine.
Jan will naturally assume they’re going to do all kinds of naughty, steamy things once they’re inside.
Instead, Shawn will try to subtly pry a confession out of Jan. He may secretly hit the record button on his phone before he gives Jan a nudge toward telling the truth.
Jan should be suspicious when she realizes Shawn wants her to admit to killing Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) and framing Belle Brady (Martha Madison).
It won’t be long until Jan lashes out and bolts, so Shawn’s plot won’t pan out. John Black (Drake Hogestyn) will get updates from Belle Brady (Martha Madison) and worry Shawn’s sneaky strategy could backfire spectacularly.
Jan is known for making messes – and she’s indeed about to make another massive one.
Other Days spoilers say Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will reject Claire following the lip lock they just shared. Ben isn’t divorced yet – and he won’t be willing to throw in the towel on winning Ciara Brady Weston (Victoria Konefal) back.
Claire will take the rejection well once Ben stops the kiss and explains his stance. Neither Ben nor Claire will want to lose this friendship, so they’ll be on the same page about pretending this smooch never happened.
Afterward, Ben will consider his options since he decided against ambushing Ciara in South Africa. Ben can either sign the divorce papers and try to accept Ciara’s choice or get rid of those papers and stick to their dreams for the future.
Ben will choose the latter after he lands at the cabin and reflects on his love story with Ciara.
It looks like Ben will whip out a match and set the divorce papers on fire to prove his point – if only to himself! Back with Claire, she’ll find herself stuck in Jan’s drama.
Jan will snatch Claire since she’ll need a hostage to use as leverage, so Claire will have to come along for the ride.
