Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, August 16, teases that Ciara Brady (Victoria Konefal) and Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) passion will explode after Theo Carver (Cameron Johnson) gets dumped. Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) will also blast Xander Cook Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) after the latter covers for Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien), so let’s discuss all the drama.
DOOL fans know Theo faced an unfortunate sight at the cabin, where Ciara was curled up in bed with Ben. Shawn Brady (Brandon Beemer) drew his weapon and shouted for Ben to put his hands up, but Ciara will insist that’s not necessary.
Ciara will announce that she’s remembered her past with Ben and is there willingly, so Ben won’t be facing criminal charges.
Of course, Shawn may still scold Ben for how he handled all this, but Days spoilers say he’ll understand on some level.
Ben did what he had to do and is incredibly lucky that it paid off – though Ben may give fate all the credit!
While Shawn gets a recap of the cabin events from Ben, Ciara will step away with Theo to deliver some bad news. At this point, it should come as no surprise to Theo when he gets dumped.
Ciara will be incredibly sorry for getting Theo’s hopes up about a future together. She’ll assure Theo that she still loves him, but she doesn’t love him the same way she loves Ben.
After Theo leaves with a broken heart and Shawn follows, Ben and Ciara will once again get some alone time at the cabin. It’s been quite some time since these two made love, so that’ll be the next step.
Ciara and Ben will strip down to reconnect in the most passionate way possible, so there’ll be some “Cin” steaminess going on.
At the Horton house, Days spoilers say Xander will lie that he was making Dr. Clay Snyder’s (Michael Lowry) drug deliveries. He’ll pretend Gwen just got caught up in helping him out of a tight spot.
Jack should shift his anger from Gwen to Xander for leading his daughter into trouble. He’ll no doubt put Xander on full blast and may even throw him out on the street!
Gwen will be relieved over Xander’s selfless gesture, but she’ll also be confused as to why he’d do this for her. However, Xander cares about Gwen – perhaps more than he’s been willing to admit until now.
Xander also cares about Jack and won’t want to see this father-daughter bond destroyed, so he’ll take one for the team and make Gwen look mostly innocent.
Next, Paulina Price (Jackée Harry) will spar with her uninvited guest. Olivia Price (Marla Gibbs) is Paulina’s bold and aggressive mom, so look for her to clash with her equally brazen daughter.
As for the reason for this visit, Olivia will want to make sure Paulina keeps quiet about a buried family secret involving Lani Price-Grant’s (Sal Stowers) parentage.
Paulina is actually Lani’s biological mother, but Olivia won’t want that shocker to leak – not now, not ever!
Olivia will think Paulina needs to get out of Salem before any secret spillage takes place, but Paulina will stand her ground on building a new life there.
In fact, Paulina will be tempted to come clean to Lani, but Olivia will warn that Paulina shouldn’t even think about it!
