Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, February 22, teases that Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) will stop by Nicole Brady’s (Arianne Zucker) apartment. Tripp didn’t know what to say after Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) apologized for wrongfully accusing him of the assault in London.
Now that Tripp’s had some time to wrap his head around everything, he may want to formally accept Allie’s apology and assure her he’s all about moving forward.
Whatever the case, Tripp will soon see that Allie’s facing some mommy struggles. Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) will be having a bit of a meltdown, so Allie will bounce her son around and do everything in her power to calm him. Since nothing will work, Tripp will suggest maybe he could give it a try.
After Tripp takes his nephew in his arms, Henry will stop all the crying and most likely drift off to sleep. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Allie will marvel at Tripp’s ability to comfort Henry.
Tripp might argue that maybe Henry senses they’re family on some level. As Henry’s uncle, Tripp will indeed feel connected to him in Monday’s episode.
Once Tripp leaves, Allie will smile over everything that just happened with Tripp. A friendship is already forming between Allie and Tripp, but this could easily cross into romantic territory down the road.
In the meantime, Tripp will think about how Henry could use a father figure. Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) has no business being in Henry’s life, but Tripp will think maybe he could fill that daddy void.
In the week ahead, Tripp will tell Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) that he wants to help out with Henry more often. It could be the start of Tripp moving into fatherly territory and forming a real bond with Allie as well.
Monday’s DOOL episode will also bring a trap for Charlie, but Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) won’t get away with it for long. Charlie will pay Claire a visit following her phone call, so he’ll count on talking things out and reuniting.
After Claire blames Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) and her relatives for trying to block their relationship, she’ll insist she’s willing to make her own decision.
However, Claire will argue that Charlie needs to meet her halfway and be truthful about what happened in Allie’s flat. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Charlie will fall for Claire’s trick and start spilling the whole ugly story.
Once Charlie has confessed to rape, Claire will keep the charade going and act like she’s going to take Charlie back.
In reality, Claire will be recording all this on her phone. Once Claire has what she needs, she’ll want to figure out a way to get Charlie out without alerting him to trouble. Alas, Claire’s scheme will go awry when Charlie spots the recording in progress and learns he’s been duped.
Days spoilers say Charlie’s rage will explode, but look for most of his outburst to happen in Tuesday’s show. Next, let’s talk about what’ll be going down at Statesville on Monday.
Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano) will become privy to Kristen DiMera’s (Stacy Haiduk) plan, which involves trading places with Susan Banks (Stacy Haiduk).
As a result, Vivian will try to make this plot work to her advantage as well. Unless Kristen’s willing to do what Vivian wants, Vivian will tattle to the warden or anyone else willing to listen.
Kristen will wonder what exactly Vivian wants, so Vivian will insist the answer is simple: she’ll push Kristen to come between Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) and Kate Roberts (Lauren Koslow).
Kristen will grumble since this will inevitably distract from her main goal of getting Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) out of Brady Black’s (Eric Martsolf) orbit.
Nevertheless, Kristen will make his bargain with Vivian and get some help with the swap that’s about to go down. Vivian will put on quite a show as she clutches her chest and acts like she’s having a heart attack.
No one will be paying attention to Kristen and Susan, so they’ll switch places during Vivian’s diversion. Once Kristen’s on the outside disguised as Kristen, she’ll dash off to start her mission.
Over with Chloe, she’ll fill Brady in on her lip lock with Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) – and Philip’s insistence that perhaps Chloe has lingering feelings for Brady.
Naturally, Chloe may argue that she knows Brady is just a pal. Even so, Chloe may want Brady to know just how much their friendship means to her. Brady won’t be thrilled about Chloe and Philip’s kiss, but he’ll try not to be too judgmental.
Brady will really just want what’s best for Chloe, so there’ll be some warm “Broe” scenes before “Susan” shows up.
Kristen will burn with jealousy when she walks in and sees Chloe changing Brady’s bandage for his gunshot wound. Since Kristen will be dressed in her Susan getup, her agitated reaction will probably puzzle Chloe and Brady.
They may not understand why “Susan” is suddenly being so meddlesome, but Kristen will definitely cause some drama!
