Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, January 18, teases that a major fight will break out thanks to the danger Philip Kiriakis (Jay Kenneth Johnson) is in.
Once Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) gets updates on the shell company that Xander Kiriakis (Paul Telfer) dissolved, he’ll know this is dangerous news indeed!
Chloe Lane (Nadia Bjorlin) will resolve to shield Philip from peril by hiding him from the mob. Brady will flip out and scold Philip for even considering the idea. He’ll rant about Philip having a target on his back and wonder if Philip really wants to put one on Chloe’s back, too.
However, Chloe will remind Brady that she’s not his wife anymore. Brady doesn’t get a say in what Chloe does, so she’ll shelter Philip from his vicious enemies. Down-the-road Days spoilers say Brady will get shot due to all the mob mayhem, so Chloe may regret dragging him into all this.
In the meantime, Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) will be accused of planting proof against Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) in his apartment. Charlie will think Tripp’s only there to make him look guilty, but Tripp won’t think Charlie needs any help with that.
Since the DNA test is being done as we speak, Tripp might confess to popping in earlier and snatching Charlie’s toothbrush. The only reason Tripp came back was for his phone, but he’ll actually appreciate this chance to hash things out. Tripp will provoke Charlie a bit in hopes of getting him to confess.
When that doesn’t work, Tripp will change tactics. He’ll suggest he’s willing to be a real brother to Charlie – someone who supports him and has his back. Tripp will just think Charlie needs to accept responsibility first and then accept the help he needs.
It’ll be a manipulative move, but there’ll still be a genuine layer underneath. Tripp will be willing to follow through on this promise if Charlie takes him up on the deal. Although Charlie will contemplate it, Steve Johnson’s (Stephen Nichols) call will shatter the mood and lead to Charlie getting rid of Tripp.
Once Tripp gets tossed out, Charlie will have a meltdown and hurl things around the apartment. He’ll kick a table and show just how frustrated he’s getting. This isn’t the life Charlie envisioned for himself when he met Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) and started falling hard.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Charlie will eventually settle down and try to figure out what’s next. Charlie will certainly have no plans to confess anything he’s done wrong. Instead, Charlie will hold out hope that he can convince Claire they’re still meant to be.
Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) will bring up an idea that could help Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold). Since Allie memories of that night in London are so hazy, Nicole will suggest there might be a way to remember the whole story.
If Allie underwent hypnosis, she could potentially get her memories back and solidify her case against Charlie.
Allie will have some reservations about that since remembering would be awfully traumatic. This is something Allie will have to mull over, but Ben Weston (Robert Scott Wilson) will suggest hypnosis as well later in the week.
Once Allie hears about Ben’s experience with Marlena Evans (Deidre Hall), that should be when she finally decides to go for it.
Until then, Tripp will head back to the hospital and reassure his mom. Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will remain on edge and fear for Tripp’s safety now that Charlie’s out on bail. Days spoilers state that Tripp will promise he’s going to be fine and will once again vow to protect Ava.
Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) will play a role in calming Ava down as well, so she’ll keep trying to recover from the drugs Charlie gave her. Over with Xander, he’ll get put on full blast.
Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) will think Xander crossed a major line through that shell company dissolution. She’ll feel like if Philip dies, it’ll be all Xander’s fault!
Afterward, Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will find Xander and haul him down to the police station to get grilled. DOOL spoilers say Xander will wonder what’s going on, but he’ll ultimately learn this is about his old link to Dr. Amanda Raynor (Victoria Platt).
Since Xander and Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) worked with Dr. Raynor on the baby swap cover-up, Rafe will think Xander might know a thing or two about what happened to the Carver twins.
Xander is innocent for once, but he’ll have to answer Eli Grant’s (Lamon Archey) questions on Tuesday – and Monday’s episode should set up that tense interrogation.
DOOL viewers will see some explosive moments in Salem soon, so keep watching! CDL’s where you want to be for hot Days of Our Lives spoilers, news and updates.
