Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Monday, March 8, teases that Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) will hold herself responsible for Sami Brady DiMera’s (Alison Sweeney) legal drama.
As Allie strolls Henry Horton (Jayna and Kinsley Fox) through the town square, she’ll open up to Lucas Horton (Bryan Dattilo) about how guilty she feels.
Lucas will naturally argue that Sami was in charge of her own choices – and Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) made choices that led to his own grim fate, too. The one person Lucas won’t think deserves any blame if Allie, but she won’t be so sure about that.
Allie will contend that Sami’s in this mess because of her, but Days may leave it open to interpretation what that means.
Since a whodunit is going on, DOOL writers will want Allie to remain a suspect. It may seem like Allie feels guilty because she committed the crime – and Sami probably thinks her daughter is guilty.
There’s a good chance Sami’s fishy story is the result of her trying to cover up what she believes Allie did to Charlie.
However, things aren’t always as they seem! Days of Our Lives spoilers say several people showed up at Charlie’s apartment building that night, so each one will be highlighted in the coming weeks.
It’s doubtful Allie really pulled the trigger, but her potential guilt will be explored on the show anyway.
In the meantime, Allie and Lucas’ discussion will be interrupted. When Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) pops up, he’ll want to take Henry over to see Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun).
Allie’s willing to let the past go and doesn’t want to keep Henry from his grandmother, so she’ll be fine with this visit.
In fact, Allie will want to come as well – just so she can witness this special grandma-grandson bonding moment. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ava’s heart will be full when she takes Henry in her arms.
Ava talked about feeling no connection to Charlie at all when he was a baby, but it’ll be different when she cuddles little Henry. There’ll be an instant connection that most likely moves Ava to tears.
As for Charlie’s murder, Ava and Tripp are still on the suspect list, too. That’ll be important to keep in mind as this scene featuring Allie, Tripp, Ava and Henry goes down. What’s sweet on the surface could have some sinister secrets buried underneath – at least that’s what Days writers will want fans to believe!
At the police station, Belle Brady (Martha Madison) will rage at Sami for deceiving her about the gun, which was covered in Sami’s fingerprints. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Belle will demand an explanation, so Sami may confess that she lied so Belle would take her case.
Belle will wonder what else Sami might be lying about and may once again ask if Sami killed Charlie. It’ll be tough for Belle to believe a word out of Sami’s mouth at this point, but Sami will offer a heartfelt plea.
Sami really needs her sister’s help right now, so she’ll do whatever she can to keep Belle committed to defending her.
Meanwhile, Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) will have to wiggle out of a tricky situation. Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn) just came across Abigail with Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus) in the park, so he’s curious why these enemies seem to be having some sort of tense, secret meeting.
Of course, DOOL fans know Abigail’s been trying to get more assistance from Gabi. Abigail hasn’t been able to get a confession out of Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) yet, so she’s counting on Gabi to get a dose of the drug that was previously used on her – the one that caused Abigail’s hallucinations.
The goal is supposedly to use Dr. Wilhelm Rolf’s (William Utay) drug to scare Gwen into coming clean.
Abigail won’t tell Chad anything close to the truth, so he’ll remain suspicious on Monday. Days spoilers say Abigail will lie about what she’s having this strange conversation with Gabi, so she might claim it’s a work collaboration or just an attempt at peacemaking.
Abigail might even act like she was trying to warn Gabi away from Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash).
Chad will eventually back off, but he may not be entirely convinced by Abigail’s excuses. Back at the DiMera mansion, Gwen will offer updates to Anna DiMera (Leann Hunley) on how she wound up in captivity.
Anna will enjoy watching Gwen squirm and will refuse to untie her for the time being, so Gwen will be out of luck.
Once Anna goes upstairs, she’ll have to create a distraction to buy Abigail some time. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Anna will keep Chad busy while Abigail moves forward with the rest of her plot.
When Abigail pulls out a syringe and loads it up with Dr. Rolf’s hallucinogen, Gwen will insist Abigail wouldn’t dare. Abigail will make it clear that she most certainly would – and she may not be bluffing.
Just because Abigail told Gabi this would be part of a bluff doesn’t mean that’ll turn out to be true. Abigail has a dangerous mentality right now, so it’s possible Gwen will indeed get an injection. On the other hand, this may simply be a close call before a dramatic rescue.
Regardless, Abigail will warn Gwen to confess or risk a dose of this drug, so we’ll see what Gwen decides. Days spoilers say Abigail will be driven over the edge once Tuesday rolls around, so Gwen may not make the right choice! We’ll keep you in the loop as other news pops up.
