Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, April 8, teases that Kate Roberts DiMera (Lauren Koslow) will find out something that upsets her. Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash) will have to be the bearer of bad news, so what’s this all about? It’s possible Jake will see an article on his tablet about the murder investigation.
Jake believes Kate’s innocent, but he might worry about the police knocking on her door again now that Sami Brady DiMera (Alison Sweeney) is off the hook.
Of course, there’s something else that’s been troubling Kate lately – and that’s Philip Kiriakis’ (Jay Kenneth Johnson) connection to Gabi Hernandez DiMera (Camila Banus).
There could be some unfortunate new business deal that Gabi and Philip set in motion. This could also involve Philip and Gabi’s upcoming date, which they’ll make plans for soon enough.
Kate would certainly hate to hear about Gabi pulling Philip closer – and though Jake will try to pretend it doesn’t bother him, he’ll indeed battle jealousy next week, April 12-16.
For now, Kate will receive updates that trouble her one way or another, so Jake will offer reassurance.
We’ll also see Jake cross paths with Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), who may admit Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) is off trying to reach a truce with Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien). Jake knows how Gwen operates and may not buy the idea that she’ll really stop causing mayhem.
It turns out Gwen will indeed create more drama in Thursday’s DOOL episode. At the Horton house, Jack Deveraux (Matthew Atkinson) will hope for the best as Gwen and Abigail face each other.
Gwen will reach her hand toward Abigail, who’ll prepare to shake it and move forward as half-sisters who coexist peacefully.
However, this plan will go awry when Gwen suddenly feels ill and vomits everywhere. Abigail will be grossed out, especially considering Gwen will actually hurl on her sister’s clothes.
Although Gwen obviously won’t mean to throw up, Abigail will use this as a reason to lash out. She may suggest the thought of calling a truce makes Gwen sick to her stomach.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Abigail will call the whole thing off and leave in a hurry. Gwen will continue to look rather queasy as Jack wonders if she’s all right. This is a setup for a bomb that’s set to drop during the week of April 12-16.
It turns out Gwen is pregnant, so maybe she’s been ignoring the warning signs and telling herself she was just stressed. Whatever the case, this barf fiasco will be evidence of morning sickness and will lead to Gwen spilling the pregnancy secret in the coming episodes.
Until then, Nicole Brady (Arianne Zucker) will catch up with Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold), who’ll fret over what Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) didn’t have a chance to confess.
Sami interrupted before Tripp could explain exactly what went down at Charlie Dale’s (Mike Manning) apartment, so Allie will fear he could be the killer. She’ll do everything she can to protect Tripp as her suspicions grow.
Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) will also want to protect Tripp, so she’ll land at Nicole’s place and seek reassurance that her friend will stay silent. Ava won’t want Nicole blabbing about Tripp being at Charlie’s apartment building before Ava found her shot son.
Across town, Days spoilers say Gabi will learn Rafe is back at square one on the murder investigation. When Gabi realizes Sami is no longer a suspect, she’ll confidently declare that she knows who murdered Charlie.
Gabi should mention how she spotted Ava leaving the house the night Charlie took a bullet.
Rafe will grill Ava later, so it seems that’ll prompt her tearful confession. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Rafe will clear one suspect and gain another before the week winds down.
Of course, we’ll have to see exactly what Rafe believes and what he’s able to confirm. There’s a chance Ava will try to lie for Tripp at first, but Rafe’s pretty good at pulling the real story out of people.
Ava has also grown to trust Rafe, so she should offer an accurate version of events before long. Perhaps Ava will ultimately admit the truth and hope Rafe can keep Tripp in the clear.
