Days of Our Lives Spoilers Update: Thursday, January 28 – Allie Confirms Charlie’s Guilt – Vincent Controls Ciara’s Fate

Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Thursday, January 28, teases that Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) will push Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller) to her breaking point. When Gwen spots Abigail in the town square, she’ll try to get under her rival’s skin.

Gwen may call Abigail “sis” or find some other way to bring the half-sister news into the conversation.

Gwen might even suggest that she loved all that time she spent bonding with her niece and nephew – though it was a pity Thomas DiMera (Cary Christopher) and Charlotte DiMera (Olivia and Oakley Rondou) only knew her as the nanny!

Abigail may point out that they don’t know anything for sure without a DNA test, but Gwen will be adamant that her claims are true.

Naturally, Gwen will stand her ground on Jack Deveraux (Matthew Ashford) being a rotten father who abandoned her. Abigail will finally decide she’s had enough, so she’ll pull her arm back and punch Gwen right in the face.

Gwen will take quite a blow, but she should walk away satisfied since she’ll succeed in infuriating Abigail.

As for Chad DiMera (Billy Flynn), he’ll witness Abigail’s attack and perhaps prevent things from escalating any further. However, Chad will no doubt enjoy watching Gwen suffer a little.

Once Gwen sashays away, Chad should check on Abigail and perhaps deliver another apology for believing Gwen over his own wife.

Gwen lied about Abigail cheating with Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash), but her claims about being Jack’s daughter appear to be true. Days of Our Lives spoilers suggest DNA test confirmation is coming up that’ll blow Jack away in the week ahead.

Until then, Charlie Dale (Mike Manning) will find somebody he can talk to and potentially commiserate with. Who will Charlie bond with and why? Gwen makes a ton of sense considering she can understand Charlie’s perspective.

Charlie hates the way Ava Vitali (Tamara Braun) dotes on Tripp Dalton (Lucas Adams) and treats her second-rate son like he’s nothing.

Gwen doesn’t buy Jack’s story about not knowing she existed, so she’s dealing with abandonment issues, too. Gwen went after Abigail for being the perfect daughter that Jack adored, so she can totally relate to Charlie.

It’d be silly if Days writers didn’t capitalize on Gwen and Charlie’s similarities with a bonding session, so hopefully Gwen will indeed be who Charlie connects with.

Next, Days spoilers say Claire Brady (Isabel Durant) will drop by Ben Weston’s (Robert Scott Wilson) place. Ben will offer up some Chinese food, which should serve as a reminder of just how much he misses his wife.

Ciara Brady Weston’s (Victoria Konefal) presumed death has left a huge hole in Ben’s heart, but he’ll have to ask himself if she’s really as dead as everyone wants him to believe.

Claire will listen as Ben describes his gut feeling on this. He’ll gaze at a photo from his wedding to Ciara and sense that she survived Vincent Belman’s (Michael Teh) reign of terror.

Ben will wonder what kind of husband he’d be if he just left Ciara helpless, so Claire may give Ben a nudge toward acting on his hunch.

Other Days of Our Lives spoilers say Ciara will bang on the door of what’s essentially a glass cage. She’ll beg Rhodes (Jason Downs), a captor hired by Vincent, to finally let her out and allow her to return to her loved ones back in Salem.

Rhodes is being paid handsomely despite Vincent’s prison sentence, so he’ll refuse to grant Ciara’s request.

Until Vincent’s hefty bank account runs dry, Rhodes will continue to follow orders. He’ll think Ciara needs to keep reading the books he’s giving her to occupy her time and just settle in for however long this takes. Ciara will be desperate to make it back to Ben, but that won’t happen anytime soon.

In Marlena Evans’ (Deidre Hall) office, she’ll talk to Allie Horton (Lindsay Arnold) about the intense hypnosis experience and the toll it could take on Allie emotionally.

Allie will be prepared to do it anyway, so Marlena will calmly take her granddaughter back to that terrible night in her London flat.

Allie will recall coming home from the club with Tripp, who pushed her away after she locked lips with him. Tripp didn’t look while Allie got undressed, but he still made sure she was safely tucked in bed before he wrote a note and left.

Since Charlie was following Tripp in London, he used that opportunity to go after Allie. Charlie is the reason that Tripp’s note went missing since he must’ve pocketed it.

As for Allie, she’ll remember waking up groggily as Charlie moved in close. Allie will recall telling Charlie no, but he grabbed her arms and held her down to rape her anyway.

After Allie’s painful memory flood, she’ll rejoin Marlena in the present and break down in tears. Marlena’s comforting hug will help, but Allie will still be pretty shaken up about everything that’s come back to her.

Allie will be able to definitively call Charlie her attacker after this hypnosis session, but it’ll come at a price. Now Allie will have even more emotional trauma to tackle in the coming episodes. As other Days updates emerge, we’ll keep you in the loop.

DOOL fans will see some difficult scenes for Allie, but she’ll have a great support system to rely on. CDL will have other gripping Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates and news to pass along, so make us your hotspot.
