Days of Our Lives (DOOL) spoilers update for Tuesday, February 2, teases that Rafe Hernandez (Galen Gering) will do his best to lift Nicole Brady’s (Arianne Zucker) spirits.
Of course, Nicole will have a chance to unload all her frustration first. Nicole thought Eric Brady (Greg Vaughan) was finally coming home, but his time in the Congo was just extended by three whole months instead.
This is obviously getting ridiculous considering Eric is a new husband and needs to be around as a stepdad to Holly Jonas (Elin Alexander), too. Holly called Eric “Daddy” not too long before his departure, but where is Daddy now? Not in Salem where he belongs!
Eric is missing out on valuable memories and prioritizing the villagers over his own family.
Eric is obviously being written out of character since this doesn’t sound like something he’d do at all. Nevertheless, this is the writing strategy Days is going with. It’ll serve as a way to create emotional distance to go along with the physical distance. Nicole’s dealing with some strong emotions right now and none of them are good ones!
Once Rafe offers a sympathetic ear, he’ll offer some comforting words and try to get Nicole laughing. Duke the teddy bear will once again give Nicole something to smile about, so look for some fun moments despite Nicole’s sad news from Eric.
In the meantime, Eli Grant (Lamon Archey) and Lani Price-Grant (Sal Stowers) will catch Dr. Amanda Raynor (Victoria Platt) off guard. It won’t be long until Dr. Raynor realizes she’s landed in the middle of a trap, so she’ll think it’s best to cooperate.
Dr. Raynor will assure Lani and Eli that she never wanted to be mixed up in another baby scandal. A man blackmailed Dr. Raynor into this, so Eli and Lani will wonder who it was. Although Dr. Raynor won’t know the guy’s name, she’ll recall that he referred to his boss as “Madame.”
Since that’s what Ivan Marais (Ivan G’Vera) calls Vivian Alamain (Linda Dano), Lani and Eli will score a crucial new lead. They’ll reflect on how sneaky Vivian can be and acknowledge that she’s come back from the dead before.
It won’t be hard for Eli and Lani to buy that Vivian order the twin snatching, especially since Lani killed Stefan DiMera (Brandon Barash). The assumption will be that Vivian’s out for revenge again, but that’s only part of the story.
It turns out Vivian also wants to start over and raise twins from the newborn stage. Vivian didn’t get that opportunity with Stefan and Jake DiMera (Brandon Barash), so she wanted this new chance with Carver Grant and Julia “Jules” Grant.
DOOL fans saw Ivan pick up the babies from Dr. Raynor, but he’ll move forward with the plan and deliver them to Vivian later this week. In the meantime, Jack Devearux (Matthew Ashford) will try to bribe Gwen Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) into leaving town.
He’ll feel like there’s just going to be more Deveraux family misery if Gwen stays, so he’ll offer to write Gwen a hefty check if she’ll scram.
Gwen will give Jack a good smack over the suggestion, but she won’t be surprised. Since Gwen believes Jack paid off her mother, Tiffany Rizczech, she’ll feel like Jack’s using the same old tactic. Days of Our Lives spoilers say Gwen will insist that she’s Jack’s daughter and won’t be ignored!
The DNA results just proved Gwen’s connection to Jack, but they don’t prove the part about Jack paying off Gwen’s mom. That’s because Laura Horton (Jaime Lyn Bauer) made those payments and just admitted it!
On Tuesday, Laura will spill the rest of the story to Jennifer Deveraux (Cady McClain) and Abigail DiMera (Marci Miller). Days of Our Lives spoilers say fans will be treated to a little trip back in time.
Since this storyline is a twist that DOOL writers recently invented, there clearly aren’t any real flashbacks from back then.
Fortunately, it’s easy to make new ones – and that’s what Days will air on Tuesday. Cady McClain will play a younger version of Laura, who’ll meet with Tiffany Rizczech (Emily O’Brien) at the Brady pub. That’s where Tiffany will receive her first check with the promise of more to come.
As Laura works to protect Jack and young Jennifer’s (Marci Miller) chance at a future, she’ll warn Tiffany to keep Gwen away from Jack. There’ll be an understanding between Laura and Tiffany, who’ll believe Laura is Jack’s secretary.
DOOL viewers will also see a scene where young Jennifer gushes over Jack and their big plans, which should further convince Laura she’s doing what’s best.
Laura will reflect on all this in the present, so it’ll be great to see Cady McClain, Marci Miller and Emily O’Brien playing other roles in these flashbacks. Once Laura’s story wraps up, she’ll realize Jack will have to hear it next.
Jack will come back to the Horton house following his faceoff with Gwen and get ready to hear Laura’s stunning updates.
Days of Our Lives spoilers say Tuesday’s episode will be packed with action, so keep watching! CDL will have tons of other scorching Days of Our Lives spoilers, updates and news to check out, so check back frequently.
